It is better for children to grow up in the countryside than in a big city. Do you agree or disagree? Use specific reasons and examples to develop your essay.

Every place has its merits for people to live in. Both countryside and big cities can provide their distinctive nutrition to children. As long as individual integrated competence is concerned, I suggest that it is better for children to live in a resource-teemed big city.

There are a great amount of advantages, including educational resources, medical care and the ability to bear pressure. First of all, children in cities can reach more resources than in the countryside. Big cities are economically permissible to build museums and libraries where children can enjoy the legacy of civilization and the information of social advancement. Besides, most of the cities have large amusement parks which play an indispensable role in the childhood. Some cities are even more pleasant and they employ tutors to help children learn via playing and gathering with other kids. Thus children living in big cities have more chances to be knowledgeable than in the countryside.

A second consideration is the medical care. Younger people are vulnerable to virus and as the society moves on, more diseases come into being. In this case, a better medical care system becomes the first choice of parents. Everyone expects advanced techniques, efficient treatment and hospitable consultation. We can realize these dreams in big cities and it is hard to carry out in the countryside. Moreover, even if the hospital in the city can not handle the situation, it is convenient to transfer patients. By comparison, the choice of big cities can assure children’s health.

A final evidence is concerned with the pressures from the society. We are living in a competitive community, and people in different parts of the world are fighting for their futures. Growing up in big cities will allow children to witness the competition and adjust themselves because this is a fiercer battlefield than the quiet countryside. Kids in the countryside might have a childhood without pressure, but this confines themselves within the region. As soon as they reach out to the world, they are easy to be defeated by the peers. Hence living in big cities can make children prepared for their future lives.

To sum up, I think big cities are a better choice than the countryside. Considering the resources for both the current and future development, children can benefit more from big cities.

楼住的文章写得很好啦,尤其是词汇的运用,段与段间的衔接也很好。、
个人觉得 第二段的论述不是很充分,感觉有点泛泛
