A company has announced that it wishes to build a large factory near our community. The news sounds exciting in any city, but not all. Picking the right community is very important，and there are a number of factors to consider when making such a decsion. I live in a tourism city. Every coin has its two sides. I will be discussing the advantages and disadvantage of building a large factory near your community.

There are many advantages of building a large factory near our community. Firstly，the global economic crisis is swept across china，people faced with the layoffs. Building a large factory will increases chances of employment and get some people out of difficult situation. Secondly，The increase in population necessitates a greater food supply and greater recreational facilities，for instance，supermarkets，schools, restaurants，dormitories and cinemas. What’s more，it can add taxs of goeverment and contribute to our economic.

There would certainly be negative effects as well. On the one hand，the proposed factotry would almost certainly have adverse effects on the local environment，particulary in regards to pollution the water. This is perhaps the most serious concern，because without clean water the area cannot sustain life of any kind，corn，livestock，or human. And it also brings industrial noisepollution. I enjoy the quiet of this city, especially when I walk by in the summer nights. I can’t bear the noise from the large factory . On the another hand，with the increase in population，it will lead to the increasing crime. For example，robbing，pilferage and violent crime. In addition，With the increase in population, the alleged white pollution would be quickly creeping all over the country---people throw plastic bags everywhere.

Tourist trade is the principal source of our city income. The attractive scenery here is fetching in more and more tourists. In short，protection of the ecologicalenvironment is primary task.

Overall，It’s detrimental more than beneficial in the long run, I strongly  oppose the idea that building a large factory near our community.
