The absence of choice is a circumstance that is very, very rare.

Making choices, which is the most common thing that happens at every second on everyone. When considering whether we can enjoy a large scope of selections? Although at some circumstance we feel no options to choose, I agree that at most time we have enough freedom too choose, and the frequency of extremity is rare, ever it happens, it due to our attitude towards the choice rather than the choice itself.

To begin with, It is the intelligence and the creativity that make human find different solutions when facing the problems hence have different choices to choose, and it is why human being is superior to other animals. Unlike the other animals, most of which only choose to escape when preyed or caught, we can use our brain to analyze the specific situation and then make a judgment of whether we should fight against or should give up. Moreover, we can choose to invent new things to satisfy our continuously increasing needs. That is the reason why we can evolve from the Paleolithic society in to the modern society. For example, to satisfy our needs to transportation, we invent different vehicles, bicycles, car, train, plane, providing us alternative ways to choose to take; to satisfy our need to communication, the letter, telephone, cell phone, e-mail are all devised to let us select from. Therefore, thanks to our high intelligence and creativity, we have the ability to invent almost whatever we want to provide various choices and it is one nature of the human being which impetus them to develop.

What' s more, we not only have to ability to develop new things to choose a better life, but also have the choice to express our own will, especially in the democratic society. For instance, our governor, say, the president are elected according to the overall people's choice, and the mass also have the choice to impeach their government when they feel unsatisfied with him or her, just like what happened to the ex-president Clinton. It is the common people who both give him the high position in the society and step him down. Thus, people always enjoy their free will to express their various choice

Admittedly, we often hear such kind of complain like：“I have no choice, but to bear this boring job", or " tolerating my terrible husband is the only thing I can do to keep this dying marriage." However, I should say it is these people themselves, rather than seldom choice that limited the opportunity to choose. Sometimes we are plunged into the dilemma, and forced to decide with no better choice, as a result of short-term views or lack of courage. Like the situation mentioned above, when facing the hating work and rigorous boss, we firmly can choose to give up the job to find a new and better one, the only cause that stops people from doing so is their dread of finding no job anymore and being unemployment, so does the pity wife in the unhappy marriage, it is the lacking of courage to create her new life that makes her feel the absence of choice. Therefore, the reason why we may feel smaller scope of choosing is that we can are not brave and courageous enough to change our initial attitude.

All in all, as the most brilliant creatures in the world we do enjoy our free will and use our wisdom to find various alternative solutions towards almost all problems. When facing the dilemma to choose, just change the initial perspective into a new one, which is full of braveness and courage, then you will find the life is so colorful that provides you so many choices.
