The role of technology for our lives is a controversial issue discussed long ago. In my opinion, Two Side Sword would be the best expression. Considering its complicated functions, we should analyze it in the long-term run, concerning not only the past but also the future. Meanwhile, it is important to realize its role in the background of the whole human civilization but not just itself. I am confident with the bright side of technology and my proof is as follows.   

Admittedly, we have met many troubles that never happened before the development of technology. The change of environment is a typical example, with holes in oxidation layers, acid rains destroying rain forests, not to mention polluted gas and water harmful to human health. It also deserved to mention the current or potential shortcomings brought by the development of Biology and Computer, the two most frontiers of technology. Besides their disadvantages like causing new diseases, possibilities that they might bring crisis to lives even the human society have emerged, regarding many new technologies, such as cloning organisms and robot design. With all the facts above, it is natural for us to feel depressed to the role of advanced technology. However, I do not think it is fair to focus on the history but not the trend in future, the influence of technology but not other regulation rules in human society, the disadvantages but not the advantages of the development of technology.   

First, the trend of the development of technology would be improving our quality of life instead of reducing it because humans start to realize how to develop themselves correctly in a long-term run. Although they make mistakes, they learned from them and tried hard to recover the damage they already did. I would like to mention the example of environment again. Many developed countries kept paying efforts to refresh the air, water and fields they polluted in the mass industrialization development last century and many areas in these countries turned back to be places with qualified nature for living. This example gives us confidence that human beings could learn to make wise choices, especially when we have already noticed the dark side of advanced technology and paid the more attention than ever to it. Why do not we stop thinking of the negative thoughts and consider it as a useful warning for us to take moves that are more careful in future and prevent bad results.      

Secondly, I think we should avoid assuming the pursuing technology is the only control of human development. We also have the moral and the law, the two powerful tools established on human civilization for thousands of years. Sometimes technology would go far beyond the development of society and the imbalance would probably threaten our lives. Luckily traditional moral and law would function as a buffer in this change. As we know, with the anti voice from people and serious consideration, government in almost countries have executed the law to forbid or limit studying clone technology which is too early for us accept it. The moral and law as well as customs are helpful to control the direction of technology development because they are based on public foundation and the accumulation of human wisdom in history.   

Thirdly, technology is naturally a perfect approach to solve the problems it created. For instance, many new products are invented to protect human from the damage caused by using computer, like special glasses and eye drops to relax eyes. More and more devises are made for people to keeping fit at home after a busy day of work. With the regulation of market based on people’s need, we could be confident that the development of technology would not go too far from its original goal which is improving the quality of life.
  
In conclusion, I am convinced that the development of technology will not ruin our lives, and contrarily, it is our only way to obtain qualified lives in the future. Technology in our civilization is like a teenager who might often make mistakes but already show a promising future.  With the analysis above, I believe we could control its development and make good use of it.

其实我觉得作文主要是一种思维的表达，所以aw说到底就是英语思维的训练。一两个句式可以运用，三四个例子可以背诵。但是根本上是一种融入英文思维的过程。可以看见你在这方面的尝试。我觉得这才是王道。对于表达习惯的训练，除了要自己多写，更多的是要加大阅读。只有扩大的阅读量，才能在写作的时候第一反应出最自然的单词出来。对于细节的把握，这本身就是仁者见仁，智者见智的过程，我的修改只是说了我个人的看法。毕竟我也没有几十年的语言环境的积淀。所以以上的修改仅作为参考意见。
