A nation should require all its students to study the same national curriculum until they enter college rather than allow schools in different parts of the nation to determine which academic courses to offer.

一个国家应该要求所有的学生在进入大学之前都学习由国家统一制定的课程,而不是允许由不同地区的学校去决定自己的教学课程。

1. 从社会角度将统一课程的好处。道德标准与社会稳定;知识基础与社会进步
2. 从个人角度讲好处。老实学生的转学,学生的升学
3. 可能对某些人群或地区.相同的课程可能会与实际相违背, 如少数民族可能使用与其他民族不同的语言
I fundamentally agree with the speaker on the assertion that a nation should design uniform curriculum for the schools before college in different parts of the nation rather than authorize these school's managers-say presidents, teachers, or even some parents-sovereign power to decide courses to teach.

This basipetal strategy benefits both the social and individual level, discussed as follows.

At the social level, a list of accordant curriculum is not only subject to form consistent moral structure rendering benefits to  stabilization of the society, but it can also build a basis of knowledge required for developing of the society. History affairs and modern happenings tell us that different moral standards are always the course of conflictions or even wars. For example, the crusade is in fact a moral and spiritual war of Islam and Christianism rather than war of different countries. And the confliction of Pakistan and Israel is similar religion and moral problem. Meanwhile, a series of basic but diverse courses such as math, physics, chemistry, literature, etc. can function as bolster of future work or further study for students. Since incertitude work opportunities or undetermined research majors put in front of the school students, a more broad and general curriculum structure containing all the possible basis for tomorrow's development would be the best choice to learn. In short, uniform curriculum offered by a nation can unify its people in morality and spirit, and set up knowledge foundation for future develop of society .

At the individual level, either a student or a teacher will gain protection and interest from the referred strategy. In one hand, in this uniform structure, students can freely transmit from one school to another school in different area, no need to attend in admission examination. And it is similar for the teacher to attain a new job in another school. In another hand, entering into a college or university, to further ones study, a standard can be build according to the credit the students get, exclusively considering the learning background of the candidates. In another words, uniform standard based on same curriculum in different schools is in favor of the health develop of education.

Admittedly, a up-to-base policy, may take disadvantage in some certain region. As the case in China, a multi-culture and multi-nationality country, minority culture exists in some place like Guangxi and Yanbian, people there speak different languages, ware different dress, and cultivate different productions, so it is impossible for them to obtain the same curriculum as other schools. Furthermore, curriculum, suit for ordinary school but unfit certain location school, will be a nightmare for the local culture. For example, culture of Manchu, one of chinese minorities, whose language was one official language of Qing dynasty one hundred years ago, is passed away in an education system taught in Chinese, language of Han nationality. That crisis is broadly exist in many countries of the world, such as aboriginal cultures in America, and should be paid attention by the government.

In sum, from what has been discussed above, we can finally reach the conclusion that a nation should carry out a standard curriculum in most schools, and with the considering to grand restricted power to schools in special places for protecting none-mainstream cultures.
