I fully agree with the writer’s view that to make the young people become better prepared for being a leader in the future they should instill in them a well-developed sense of competition and what is more important a sense of  cooperation.

To begin with, competition in our fast moving society is essential in most field and the leaders of these field should equipped with the characteristic of competition to be well competed. As to government leaders, it is competition that contribute to their position and esteem.For example during national or town president election, they earn votes by the means that holding sound and inspiring speeches, sponsoring more financial supports, offering more helps to the people and so forth, which can make them competed and return them more chance to win. As to the sports leaders, the sense of competition is also necessary and crucial because they are in the fierce competition world and their goals, say, in a large sense, is to win the game. In the typical case of Olympic Games, the players are inqured to be competed and neither of thme do not want to be in the first one. Just imagine the scene that three players stand  on the three different kind of platform among which the biggest winner stand on the highest one and the following two stand on the lower ones. Why aren’t they arranged to  stand in the same level to demonstrate that every player is friends and the same? The answer is that in such area if one want to become higher you should be more competed and this is a spirit that wins admires. As to the industry leaders, the competition spirit is also the important reason that contribute to their success in that they should keep on moving to put out new products, invest new inventions, develop more proper and reasonable laws in the company and so on, which can make them continually be in the first place when leading the development of social economy, people's quality of lives and their own lasting profits.

However, the youngest, having been a special kind of people may be easily effected and go to extremes when they start to participate in the fierce world. Young people are special because they are more fast and talent when treating the same thing compared to the adults, which may be the reason that contributing to their disadvantaged pride. This kind of character may make them concern more of competition and the progress of their own other than other's. Without proper inspiring, this bad developed trend will block their way to meet more chance and even ruin their future.Therefore, they should be instilled by society,teachers,and parents to find their way to be a successful leader in the future.

The crucial fact that can help the youngest to find their ways is the cooperation spirite which is also the essential ability like competition.  For one thing, cooperation makes work efficient. As a saying goes "lots of men fetching firewood, the fire become brighter". Lots of people have lots of ideas which can possiblly bring us better method of working or studying. For another thing, cooperation makes the youngest agreeable. During the process of working or studying they can enjoy the happiness and share pains which can not be got when they are alone. In addition, cooperation is a precious spirit and culture atmosphere. It is a reflection of one's civilized level.

In sum, competition makes man competed while cooperation makes man competed well and they are not contradict with each other. Young people should combine the two precious characters to be prepared for the bright future.
