103"The study of history has value only to the extent that it is relevant to our daily lives."

How to evaluate the potential value of history? The problem is a much debated one in that it affected everybody in their daily lives. People may prefer its relevancy to people daily lives or another, although, some have no systematic opinion about it. But in my point of view, I advocate that the title statement is over-simple and the value from studying history not only exerts profound influence on people’s daily lives but has a dramatic effect on society and human beings now and future.

Firstly, I admit that studying history will bring about numerous positive influences to individuals in many cases. Through researching a famous person, who is of a host of excellent personalities and succeeded in similar field to you, will offer good and instructive guide for your development of characteristic and set up a direction for your following. Such examples can always be seen in school, teachers told their students some elite drew from historical books and considered the elite as a instructive model to guide the students for their progress.

Secondly, the value of researching history beyond its effect on daily life is the far reaching improvement to society and human beings. Looking back to the past to seek its true origin and reasons can show effective ways to what happened nowadays and still not be solved. An example can give some light to this point. The war among middle Asian countries has gone on since old time and there is no effective means for it. Tracing into its origin shows us that the reason of the war attribute to the culture and race difference, which provide a road to solve the problem just looking for a balance of culture and race between two sides.

Finally, as for the value to society and human beings, we should focus our eyesight on some research nowadays which can lend some support to the point. The studying in medicine fields is to ask for a perfect curing when considering multitude of disease, especially severe illness which perhaps lends person to die. The produce commonly requires to pursuit the history of disease and then look for the solving to it based on these information, from which, we can get that studying history provides value far beyond its impact on the daily lives of people.

All in all, there are still similar circumstances concerning the far reaching value of studying history such as researching historical makeup of earth for problem of environment and weather. From what has been discussed above, we can find the unsystematic identity of title statement and draw the conclusion that the value from studying history not only exerts profound influence on people’s daily lives but has a dramatic effect on society and human beings.
