TOPIC: ISSUE144 - "It is the artist, not the critic,* who gives society something of lasting value."

The statement alerts that the lasting value is given by artist not by critic. I fundamentally agree with the speaker's view, certainly,we also should take awareness of the efforts contributed with the critic.

Admittedly, artists create several works relateing with novel,film , music,painting and so on ,which express their talent , character and thinking about world.Most of these works including significantly lasting value to society. For instance,Beethoven's music become invaluable works in the world,causing the follower musicians to study,admire and pass the works over generation by generation; or the value of Mark Twain's novel  is worthy  appreciating not only for writer but also for politicians; and Pabol Picasso's painting brings about unimaginable price campaign contemporary time;furthermore, Charlie Charplin's film explore the new land of film,and his films are classical in today's world. As for me ,all works which could move my heart would hold lasting value for me. Once I apperaciated a film, called <A Story of The stone>,  in this film the male chief party-A Gan just running towards his aim spirit me to full of courage to pursue my dream, do not be shame,do not stop,do not cling to the landscape aside the way to aim.

Meanwhile, the critics depend on their special knowledge, intensive sight and critical spirit to find out the works having lasting value,and introduce good works to people.We can not look so far away from the research community of <A Story of The stone >,whose inner world has been explored by the researchers. Through these discoveries researched by critics,we could understand the strict hierarchy in Song period , the life condition of people in that period and the cause -degenerative spirit world, rotten government domination and inhumanity marriage law, and so on-causing the period exchangement.Thanks for the contributions from critics, t his history could replay again before our eyes.

Moreover, critics could help us to choose which art works are worthy appreciating and preserving. And they also could identify the real or false of works, protecting genuine works from being lost, which would be great lose of society.

However, critics prevent the development of arts to a certain extent. On one hand, as a common people,critics' mind is limited without universe knowledge, precise identification and creative idea.Because of their narrow mind, they may be possible not to discover the inner value of works,resulting in the loss of lasting value . For example,Mark Twain's novel once are considered for amusing novels, just bringing funning to the society, but not to be treated as critic novel directing to the rotten politic.On the other hand, critics are easy be ultilized by government and authority. For instance,Voltaire against  the works of Shakespeare, because of his works not conform neo-classical principles.

Consequently, lasting value in different individual may explane in different mean. Let we carry out our wisdom to justify which works have lasting value for us , such as,our family photos, our created paintings or some works moving our heart, all of which once bring about good time to our life.

整体感觉的话，文章的行文思路还可以，就是开头结尾不是很合全文，建议你再把握下整体的结构，另外的话，感觉文章读起来不顺畅，可能是因为有些小的语法错误
