The speaker alerts that the scandals contract public interests on our attention problems in ways that no speaker or reformer ever could.I fundamentally agree with the recommend that scandals - whether in politics , academia, or other areas-can lead public to concern more society problems which public always  did not understand, then utilize law, public reputation or ethic standard to limit these undesired behavior making by figures of every realms. While we should also consider the extent of  punishment standard ,after all , scandals once released would destroy one's whole life , career and reputation in society ,and wasting  lots of money to research scandals is also harmful to government and public.

Indeed,scandals focus public attention on social problems , resulting in that the fingers in every realms take emphasis on enhancing their ethic standard , which would be beneficial to public and society.Scandals occurred in any realm would attract public curious and justice to this realm to concern its process.For instance, the Nixon's Watergate Affair is a classic instance in politic realm. Without that the scandals had surfaced, the public could not pay such attention to the political problems from speakers and reformers. And in economic realm,the scandal of Mitsubishi Motors would be fine example.Mitsubishi Motors had concealed significant defects in the break system of Pajero, one of the company's major products, before apologized to public. Hundreds of car accidents were directly caused by the break error.Thus , the company suffered a great goods return, losing not only the market share but also the confidence of consumers. Moreover, the scandal of football corruption is well-known in world. So- called"black Whistle" in China,which is not made much account of before . Now the "black whistle"has drawn increasing attention.

However,the scandals really arise our interest and lead us to limit the figures behavior, wasting a great number of money , time and labour force is not only harmful to these leaders , but also to public themselves.The famous sex scandal of former president of America Bill Clinton is a case in point. Although Clinton is guilty in morality, the scandal is only the privacy of the former president. Furthermore,the large amount of the public resources which are spent on probing into the intimate details between Clinton and Lewinsky . the funds would be more beneficial to the world if they could be spent in helping the sick children in the Africa or otherwise be used for addressing the problems of the environment pollution and unemployment in America. Furthermore, grasping this sex scandal all to time not only destroy the career of this former president,but also destroy his  reputation in public, even and attract his welfare of family.

Consequently, we should tread scandals with justice , considerable and tolerant hearts. Probing into scandals not mean that we could destroy the whole life of leaders who involve in the scandal and cause the scandals well-known in the world, but to war some low ethic standard leaders concern to increase their moral level, so as to be a respecting figures in society.
