What do you want most in a friend — someone who is intelligent, or someone who has a sense of humor, or someone who is reliable? Which one of these characteristics is most important to you? Use reasons and specific examples to explain your choice. （其实后来觉得写INTELLIGENT好写）

If I can select a person to make a friendship with, I will select the one who is intelligent, humorous and reliable. But since I only have one choice, I will cherish the guy who is reliable. The reasons are quite simple and I will discuss as bellows

Primarily, a reliable friend makes the friendship durable. People all like to talk to those who can be trusted. Normally, broke the friends’ secret means corrupt the friendship in the end. The relationship can hardly be repaired if one of the two says something that he or she can not be allowed to say.

Again, I prefer this character for it is a good merit. We know that intelligent is the inborn ability, humorous only helping fun people or making them feel better. But reliable is the ability comes from study that not everyone can obtain easily. This is the character which people think could be admired and commended.

At last, it is easy for us to ask for help to friend who is reliable. We always find that reliable friends help you sincerely and never want you pay them in future. They will say OK when we need urgent money for our emergency affairs. They won’t be hesitated if we require them to share something we need to use. They just feel by heart that it is common to help a person who needs help.

In sum, although there are many friends in my life, old or young, rich or poor, smart or fool, I still want to keep a friendship with those who are reliable. Since everything would change, our relationship can hardly be broken.

I would like to talk to my mother. The first reason is my mother is familiar with me from the time I was born. She knows almost everything I am thinking. And she also knows how to help me when I am in trouble. What’s more, my mother is the people who I can rely. I can ask her for money when I want to buy something such as toys books or video games. At last I think I will not feel embarrassed to talk with her about my love experiences, I also hope she can give me some opinions. (1.了解我，帮助我 2.可信赖，钱， 3. 可以谈隐私)
