writing(Characteristics & qualities):What are some of the qualities of a good parent? Use specific details and examples to explain your answer.


Most people welcome that parent is the first teacher of his/her children. Actually, in our childhoods, boys always considered their fathers as their idols while girls hoped to become the women just as their mothers. Influence parents brought to their children can never be ignored in every case. So, how to be a good parent and what on earth kinds of qualities should a good parent have always be concentrated by the whole society. In my opinion, abundant knowledge, ability to resist bad behaviors, as well as patience are the most significant ones.

To begin with, the most important quality a good parent should have is abundant knowledge. Before the child grew old enough to go to school and receive the professional education, parents have to take the responsibility of primary education, such as basically words and computation, fundamental rules of the society, some kind of amity using in communication and so forth. A cherubic child, with broader knowledge and better civilization, must be favorable to the teachers and classmates that would accelerate the child to become more positive and confident.

Moreover, good parents must have the ability to abandon the bad habits because they have to set good examples to their children. As commonsense, children, and even the adolescents, would like to imitate the behaviors of the others around. They always have strong curiosity of what other people did, especially their parents. According to the consequence of survey hold by Chinese Children Institute(CCI), more than 70% smokers who began smoke before 16 admitted that at the very beginning, they smoked just because of imitation of their parents. Furthermore, violent crimes of teenagers are also correlated with family violence. An expert of CCI asserted that fighting between parents will influent children's personalities and even their whole lives. Approximate 85% children grew up in the family full of violence prefer to solve problems in violent method rather than the other ways. Hereby, parents must have the ability to repel all the horrible deeds in order to keep away them from their children.

Last but not least, patience is another important character of parents. As we know, children always ask some fantasy questions and even some foolish ones because of less commonsense. For instances, many children like to ask "Why I cannot fly as a bird?", "Why I cannot eat another cake before go to bed?" and so on. Although most of the questions are nonsense for us, the adults, they seem very important to the children. If the parents refuse to answer or even drop on them, the children might be very sad and more seriously, be diffident. While on the other hand, if the parents answer all the questions patiently, the children could learn a lot and more important, feel the love, which, obviously will benefit them in many aspects.

1. If your friends from other country are going to visit your country,  where do you suggest them to go? And state your reasons.

Well, I prefer to suggest them to go to the Lingyin Monastery, which is located in the south China. It is a famous monastery with more than 1600 years history. Actually, it was constituted by a foreign Monk and now is considered as a symbol of the friendship between China and the other countries. This monastery is built in a mountain with a lot of beautiful trees and springs around. As stories told, things blessed by the monks of the monastery could bring good luck to the owners. So, I will suggest my friends to buy some amulets there, and hope that can bring them good fortune.

2. 有的人旅游时喜欢直奔目的地，有的人喜欢兼顾游览沿途景观，你prefer？

Well, in my opinion, I would like to appreciate the landscapes along the way.

The most significant reason is that go straight to the termini might miss some sceneries worth to see. For istance, when we climbed a moutain, generally the sight of the peak attracts us the most. But, actually, temples, trees, and springs along our way are also beautiful and some of which are even famous.

Furthermore, the very target of traveling is relaxation. I like the feeling to amble along the paths without any pressure and catch the views around. As for me, some trips even have not certain destinations.
