Well, for me, I think taking a part-time job is helpful for us to choose future career. For one thing, because we are young, what we have is just an interest in something. We really don’t know what we should do. And at this time, taking a part-time job can tell you whether you are suitable or not to do this kind of job. For another thing, taking a part-time job can prevent you from doing wrong decision. If we take a part-time job and we find we are not suitable for this kind of job, then when we choose future job, we may not make mistake again.
In our daily life, we may encounter many things. Among these various things, it is likely that some things you like to do, but others not. However, we should admit that sometimes you should do things that you do not enjoy doing. I will explain from the following two aspects: living and studying.
Living contains many aspects, such as wearing, eating, traveling. However, in these many aspects, there always exist some things that you do not want to do at all, that means you do not enjoy doing it. Take illness for example, there is no deny that we all may be ill some time. And we go to hospital to see doctor. And maybe doctor prescribe some pills for you. Among these pills, there maybe exist a kind that you do not like to eat but it is this kind of pill that plays an important role in curing your illness. At this time, what you should do is and only is to eat it no matter whether you like it or not. From this case, we can see that in life, we may encounter occasions and in this occasion you must do some things in order to live better in future. In some sense, it is for the better being in future that let you do something you do not enjoy doing.
Another aspect is studying. Being a student, studying is always the main melody for us. And we can say that we almost expend almost half of the day to study. Study what? Study courses that school present for you. We should notice that it is the school, not yourselves that choose and design these courses. Now that these courses are not chosen by ourselves, we many encounter some courses that we are not interested at all. But can we give up learning this course just because we have no interest to do it. Of course not. Since you are a student, you should follow the instructions. In addition, we are young and we may not know ourselves very well. If we just touch the face of a course and find this course is not interesting and so give up, then we may lose lots of precious knowledge. Some course may appear boring at the first moment you touch it, but as time going by, you may find it is interesting not as you thought. In this case, it is your not knowing yourself well that you must do some things you do not enjoy doing at first.
In conclusion, we should do some things that we do not enjoy doing. But this phenomenon only exists sometimes, not always. Doing these uninteresting things can, in some sense, make your life better.
