You have the opportunity to visit a foreign country for two weeks. Which country would you like to visit? Use specific reasons and details to explain your choice.

If I have the opportunity to visit a foreign country of two weeks, maybe I will choose United States. Arounding us, there are millions of people who have their own American dreams. Someone want to earn more money, someone want to visit places of interests, someone want to make more friends who have totally different culture background. As for me, there are two reasons.

Firstly, in my country, China, people have passion on learning English, since English is the most widely used language all over the world. With the development of science and technology, the whole world become smaller, to some extent. In that way, in order to communicate with people from foreign courtries, Chinese people must learn English. There is no doubt that staying in US is a best way of learning English.

Secondly, visiting America can provide me an opportunity of understanding western culture deeper. Though the communication between two countries is universal today, the misunderstanding between eastern, especially Chinese people, and western people also exists. When I stay in US, I can chat with American people from every classes, in addition, I also can learn their habits as well, such as when eating, talking and so on.

Two weeks is a short time for visiting a large country like US which is the most powerful country all over the world. Education, law systems, for instance, have uncountable aspects worthy to learn for us. Moreover, I believe I will not regret my choice of choosing United Stated.

The the important plant in my country, China, is bamboo. In my opinion, people all over the world maybe know a kind of animal, panda, which is the most precious kind of animal in my country even in the world. Moreover, bamboo is the main food for pandas, without food, pandas cannot live. In addition, the Chinese traditional culture, bamboo stands for a person who is well-educated and self-confident, and never flatter any body. In that case, bamboo not only has physical meanings, but also has spirital meanings. That is why bamboo means a lot to me.
