writing(Friendship):
Some people choose friends who are different from themselves. Others choose friends who are similar to themselves. Compare the advantages of having friends who are different from you with the advantages of having friends who are similar to you. Which kind of friend do you prefer for yourself? Why?

Everyone has friends. None of us could isolate ourselves from the society, so everyone needs friends. But how should we choose our companions? Obviously, the ones hold different opinions could widen our sight while the ones had the same thought and emotion could stand by us all the time. In my opinion, I welcome the later ones.

To begin with, we must admit that making friends with the ones who are different could expand our perspective and bring us knowledge of other domains. Everyone has his/her own experience and familiar field, thus communicating with those who have totally different expertise could enlarge knowledge of us. For instances, some of my friends are literature and history devotees while my major is Mechanical Engineering. When we chatted together, they always like to cite typical sentences in famous fictions and some interesting historical stories which could go a long way with improving of my literary level.

Nevertheless, although we could learn a lot from the ones who are different, making friends with similar thought could brings us more benefit.  The most significant advantage is that we could gain more sustainment from the ones who hold the same opinions because they could comprehend your decision more than the others. I can still remember that when I decided to give up my former job and try to pursue a higher position in a famous company, it was my friends holding the same points as mine that gave me much help, from preparation for interview to taking care of my daily life. I cannot imagine how I could get success without these friends. Hereby, generally the ones who hold the same opinion are always your loyal supporters.

Furthermore, the same hobbies between my friends and I could fix our friendship. With the same hobbies, we never need to afraid of losing each other some day. As for us, watching cartoon is our common favorite entertainment. Though we are not in the same city any more and have few chances to have get-together, we did not feel any strange. The characters and latest episode of cartoon are our eternal topic. Herewith, the same hobbies could fasten the friendship.
