Some people think governments should spend as much money as possible exploring outer space (for example, traveling to the Moon and to other planets). Other people disagree and think governments should spend this money for our basic needs on Earth. Which of these two opinions do you agree with? Use specific reasons and details to support your answer.

Just a few days ago, the HMS Endeavor landed on the Kennedy Space Center in Florida, which means another outer space exploration has successfully come to an end. Coincident with that in the United States, research work on the outer space in many other countries are undergoing. No one can deny that these tasks cost numerous amount of money afforded by the goevernment, and does it worth doing so? Some people are worried about such budget may cause deficit influence on the basic needs on Earth for ineffecient of money, while others vote for exploring outer space. As far as I am concerned, exploration of the outer space takes rather huge beniftis for human beings, for it realted to people's life right now as well as that in the future.

Addmittedly, those people who hold the view that among the government's responsibility is priarily the basic needs on Earth will show tremendous examples that the government should pay attention to in the form the funds, such as African people starving need food and clean water, Mid-east people in war call for peace, the almost distinctive peoples demand preservation on their culture and language. Cosiderable though such demands that the governments should care for, they can not compete with the benifits that the outer space exploration bring along when advantageous points in the future are taken into consideration.

Funds on the crises do help solving problems such as starvation, war and culture, and exploration outer space is eqqually responsible to the governments for it also take advantages on people's daily life. More than thousands of manmade satellites are working around the Earth, sending us TV signals, cell phone radiation and military information as well. For example, I have planed a trip to the Vienam for months, and google satelite photos did me a big favor that I can get familiar with the tour destination in details. Another example is the Sun. Sun provides the Earth with light and heat valuable to the whole eco system as well as other form of energy as Sun storm which is victious for the communication and many other human activities. Outer space experiments helps man kind to gain what they need and avoid what they do not.  

Not only does the outer space exploration aid the nowadays life, it is disirable more for the future of human beings. With the aid of space ships, mankind has been learning the formation of planets and their satelites, comformation of these planets and many other essential qualities for us. Take Mars for example. Earth is now almost saturate in resource and the capability for human living in, and Mars is the planet most similar to Earth as far as we know, which means Mars could, in a large possibility, be our next home land. When looking forward the faith of man kind, Exploration outer space is nothing but an obligation.

In sum, I insist that governments should spend as much money as possible exploring outer space, accounting for the reason that this project impressively benifits human beings now and then.
