Many teachers assign homework to students every day. Do you think that daily homework is necessary for students? Use specific reasons and details to support your answer.

Why, you may wonder, should teachers assign homework to students every day? Why such 'tradition' has been passed down from one generation to another, maybe hundreds of years until now? As far as I am concerned, homework does a tremendous favor for students' familiarity with knowledge they have acquired daily, resulting assignment for students is necessary.

As valuable aids for students' reviewing their daily courses, homework is a critical part of learning. That is to say, people will lost part of the information they had gain without reviewing them, and assignments will help people get rid of lost these memories. Just as an old saying goes: 'Quan buli shou, qu bu li kou', which literally means a boxer would turn to be weaker if he does not exercise his skills every day, and so does a singer. I learned to play the cello when I was five years old. From then on, I was told to play the instrument every single day. For couple of times I am lazy to keep practicing, and in the next day I can not play the cello as well as I hade done before, since my hands and minds as well did not familiar with my instrument. So, daily homework is necessary.

Daily homework is also an amiable assistant for teachers gain the information on that how their classes are going to the students. In this way, they could do some amendment in their syllabus on time, suitable for the students. As teachers work hard on preparation for the curriculum, students should provide feedback information everyday to their teacher as well.

In addition, daily homework sometimes lead drawbacks to the students and teachers. Suppose the amount of homework being beyond the capability for a child to accomplish within a day or for the teacher to check in a day, homework is a heavy trouble rather than a help.

In sum, daily assignments are great help not only for a student remember the knowledge, but also a feedback information for teachers.
