    The author issued that all students should be required to take course in the sciences, even if they have no interests in it. I agree with this opinion, as a student who has received that academic arrangement. I accede that take courses in the science are significant and request. The effect of science will not merely on the point of knowledge.
    First, a student needs to accept, I argue, a completely and systematic knowledge whether he or she will take what kind of job in another day. Conclude the courses on science, nature and society. Study just like climb up a pyramid. You can reach the highest point only based on the widest fundamental. And the study of science is the most important foundation for your study. For an example, the courses of science always conclude the math, physics, chemical and etc. Some methods to be taught in those courses may helpful for your daily life. Such as the one in the operation research­—program evaluation and review technique. This method will make manpower and physical resources in the most efficient way by using the analysis and operation of mathematics. An applied example is how to arrange The Olympic Games. If a city was decided to hold an Olympic Game, it will arrange every sports event will just match along with the right building and players at the right time. It must use the method of program evaluation and review technique to promise everything will be carry out systematical or orderly.
    Second, besides the method of research, I think, take the course of science will be benefit to the student’s capable of logical thinking. What is logical thinking? It is an ability of how to thinking in a proper and reasonable way. It is one of the main capable of human being; it is significant for you whatever your job is. Why? Here is an example, as we know, in nowadays, some company take the capable of logical thinking of the jobseeker as an important aspect of hiring. It is because of some graduators always can’t find the key point of the problems which need to resolve after they enter the company. Sometimes they find that it is difficult to wrights a document in a logical way. The course of science, such as mathematic, physics, chemical played a special and irreplaceable role at shaping the rational thinking and accelerating the intellectual development of human being, especially at the capable of logical thinking. It was the best time for people to cultivate the ability of logical thinking when they were at the secondary school. And the course of geometry and algebra in the secondary school will go a long way towards the form of this ability and one’s ability of space imaginary.
    Moreover, nature science may bring fresh and constructive perspectives and viewpoints to humanity and social sciences. Such idea may help a student to create a new area in his major science, or do a great job to improve the student to a higher level. For example, the famous artist in the Italian Renaissance-Leonardo da Vinci. He originated the light and shade transfer method in painting by using the science of optics and geometry, that is the theory of alteration when the light on a sphere. The creation of this method was a milestone in painting. A famous oil painting, Mona Lisa, is a painting represent of this method.
    In a word, science, in my view, is playing a unique and irreplaceable role in forming the rational thinking and promoting the personal intellectual development. Take the course of science will be benefit to a student of his or her word point of view and its values whether in the nature science or the social science. So I think all students should be required to take the course of science.
