Many teachers assign homework to students every day. Do you think that daily homework is necessary for students? Use specific reasons and details to support your answer.

      While the opponents of the idea that teachers should not assign homework to students everday believe it will occupy the children’s recreational time,I tend to sustain that some appropriate homework is totally necessary and indispensable for students,especially for yong students.because proper homework could contribute to developing the habit of self-conscious learning and cementing the knowledge learned from classes.

       First of all,the students at the age of 7-13 do not have sufficient self-control ability.allured by a variety of entertainment such as computer games and sports,most kids,probably,will not learn self-consciously if there is no some proper compelling method such as homework.in contrast,if teenagers do there homework regularly and carefully, they,gradually,will generate the interest of learning and develop a good habit of self-conscious learning which is perfectly significant for their future.

      Another important reason is that if students do not do the homework to review what they learned everyday,they will soon forget part of or even all of  the knowledge learned from classes.this phenomenon is unavoidable not only for learning but also for everything.taking my personal experience as an exmaple,I used to ignore the homework and spend a lot of time on amusement because I thought I had already acquired everything in the classes and could sovle the different kinds of problem about relevant knowledge.however,after half of month or more,I also used to get into trouble during the examination,because I nearly can not remember any method to the problem which I saw as a piece of cake not long ago.

To sum up,we should not occupy the students’leisure time absolutely and force the them to learn every minute,especially for kids,recreation is also essential for childen’grow-up.but we could arrange part of their spare time to do more meaningful and provident things like homeworKB+x R U#A寄托家园
