Agree or disagree with the following statement: it is more important to award students for effort (trying or hard working) than for achievement (good grades) (周三作业)


Both teachers and parents pay much attention to students' education and personal development. It is clear that academic achievement is a significant standard to gauge their performance in their study and succession. However, I believe it is not advisable to evaluate students according to their grades at all cases. On the contrary, we should divide students' education into two different stages: Knowledge accumulation and knowledge output.

First of all, Knowledge accumulation stage contains the beginning of one semester, academic year and even a period of time and students should be awarded in relation to their studying activity, such as working hard and put much effort.  This period is so crucial for students to their gaining knowledge. If teachers award students on the basis of their achievement, the students who have obtained bad grades will be negative in their study. Eventually, they will become more and more unenthusiastic about their study. In contrast, it is undeniable that some students who have gained lower grades may have resolutions to improve their study. Nevertheless, the bad judge standard, grade-oriented standard, will have opposite effect on students' striving and hard-working. In the long term, these students will reject to study.


In the second place, When students step into the last stage of one semester, academic year, teachers are supposed to exert more pressure on students than before because these period is critical for students to present their achieve to parents and society. Students have fundamentally finished the amassment of knowledge. Awarding students refer to their grades will express huge role in stimulating students and make them try their best in tests. Furthermore, if students attain reward as a result of their excellent grades, they will be more ambitious and careful on their study.

All in all, I think students' performance should be weight by their activity in study at the beginning of one semester or academic year. But During the end of their semesters or academic years, students should be awarded after considering their grades in tests.

Idea和structure都没问题。观点句注意简洁。
写两点分论点的时候可以很仔细的论述,不要急在第一句话:)加油~~~~

其实2点也不碍事, 你这篇语言变化很多, 结构思路也清楚, 看出来有进步~~!
