agree/disagree：university students should be required to take basic science classes even they are not part of the field of the study.

Today, facing with the society of increasingly intense competition, to be simply expert in the field of the study and lacking some basic scientific knowledge are deficient. They will restrict your further personal development in the future. Therefore, I tend to sustain that university students should be required to take basic science classes. I will explain my opinion based on the following reasons.

First of all, mastering some significant scientific knowledge is indispensable for students.because it will integrate them into society better. Take computer application for example,with out the help of computer, neally all of the multnational corporations can not live and every industry or trade will be influenced. So when students interview a job after graduation, oppossessing the skill of  computer  application will be a essential requirement. So if students do not acquire this kind of basic scientific knowledge before, they will lack competitive power.

In the next place, contacting all fields of knowledge including basic science is benefical to students’development in the future.undeniable,  to be excelled in only several field of the study, probably, could contribute you to fingding a well-incomed job, but not help you become a politician, entrepreneur or professor,because all they need a wide range of knowledge. expecially for professors, they should even have an encyclopedia of knowledge. because of the indiscerptible connecton of different fields of knowledge,a professor often needs to explain some other relevant fields of knowledge before teaching the chief content,if one profeesor lack of this knowledge,how could he or she answer the questions from students?

Last but not least, university should be a place which connects closely with society.  What it main cultivate is comprehensive talents. if university only require students to take classes belong to the field of study and ignore the improtance of basic science, it totally violate the original intention of univerity.

To sum up,taking all above-mentined resons into consideration,requiring students to take science classes even if not belong to the field of study is more sensible and accurate,because it enables students to be of more competitive power,develope themselves better and more accord with the original intention of university.
