Nowadays, with developments of our society, there are increasingly opportunities for people in choosing their jobs. Some people tend to change several jobs in their career lives. But other people hope that it is possible to stay at only one company to work for a certain employer. As for me, it depends on some situations as follows.
First of all, the stability of jobs is associated with characters of professions. It is not reality that people want to service for one boss in there career lives when they take some kinds of professions that need to usually communicate with other people, or the companies they work for is individuation. For instance, as a salesman in a company, they have chances to acquaint with a lot of people and see other companies’ situations. Thus, it creates many conditions for job-hopping. However, for some other people, the nature of the jobs they take decides that they had better work in only one place in their career lives. Particularly, most professors in universities, especially those who devote themselves into science study, would like to stay at a fixed school from they began there careers.
On the other hand, whether it is necessary to change jobs frequently also depends on people themselves. For adventurous people, when they change their job frequently, they will feel novelty and increasingly positivity in their work. The others, who solute things stably, are unwilling to change their jobs. Lawyer, for example, some of them like to sign up different employers in order to recognize more clients and colleagues to develop their enterprise well, while others stay at one company to establish connection with settled customers in a long period. Furthermore, somebody would like not only to change their jobs, but also to change their professions to create a brand new life.
Moreover, the reality of changing jobs is sometimes connected with external situations. People may change their jobs for taking care of parents or children conveniently, pursuing a higher wages, etc.
To sum up, it is a complex question whether it is realistic to work for one employer. We can’t get answers easily.
