Whether high schools, colleges, and universities should set their programs more about preparing for future career and jobs, while less on teaching about general subjects, different people may give various answers about this. In my opinion, I agree with that preparing for future jobs is more important, therefore high schools should spend more time on it.

The original purpose of education is that people obtain the abilities to adapt to modern society, and win their places我可能会用complete their dreams, place在英文中好象不合适 and status in it. Moreover the essential of general subjects should be according to/accord this purpose of education. However, at present, since we lack more effective ways to evaluate abilities of students, we only depend on tests and scores to estimate. Therefore most of students study for a good GPA rather than gain really useful knowledge and information when study general subjects. An interesting phenomena is 主谓不一that students get A in all courses generally cannot find jobs, let along good jobs. For instance, one of my friends, she studied hard on general subjects and got an excellent transcript, but she found (it is形宾) difficult to find a job for her weak practical skills and the lack of internship experience. In sum, high schools, colleges, and universities should put more resources and spend more time on teaching about preparing for future jobs and career. They have responsibilities to let their students know that if you want to survive in schools, you need focus on general subjects and get a good result, while if you want to win/我觉得用complete your dreams or careers更好吧win有一总比赛的感觉 in the society, you need to prepare better on practical skills and abilities/ prepare the practical skills and abilities better. Students who want to further their studies to go to graduate schools when they graduate form/from universities should spend their time and energy on studying general subjects rather than preparing for jobs. Universities and colleges should have special programs for these students so that they cannot be forced to prepare for jobs because it seems like a sort of waste of time. 留学,考试,TOEFL,GRE,GMAT,IELTS,SAT,VISA,文书,签证,论坛,出国,申请,美国,英国,欧洲,加拿大,USA6GXIu kvmF+oEn z#vIn conclusion, I agree that high schools, colleges and universities should spend less time teaching about general subjects and spend more time teaching about preparing for future jobs and career in most cases for the reason that this strategy is in accordance with the original purposes of education.bbs.gter.netF\:x9wa+ei3c9UA |
