In some high schools and universities. the students have group works, giving the members of a group the same grade(credit), do you think it can evaluate the students?(2008.1.13)

There is no consensers(consensus among people) as to universities evaluate the students by giving the members of a group the same grade. As for me, this method will absolutely judge students ability and evaluate their work. Several reasons in detail will contribute my opinion.

First, students' main task is study, during which they can absorb knowledge from many areas. But as there are some tasks too heavy for one student to burden, it is better to allocate to different ones which forms a group. As students' mark directly attach to the tasks they finished in the group, they will devote all their effort doing the tasks better, in order to get the best result. Take me for instance, when I was sophomore, I took an English class which fascinated me quite much. At that time, professors asked us play some acts, he would give us our grades by judging our plays's excellence. We settled to play Friends, and after confirming the so called "actors", we tried our best to mimic the actors in the play, tone, gesture, behave, everything. We played four times a week for a month then, when we standing in the platform, we all did a great job and without doubt, our marks were the highest.

Second, group works will help students know the responsibility which remind them should not drag on doing their part or their group members will have  bad effect. It also teaches them should put their part task as best as they can, in order not to be failed by the judgment. Students are young people who own emotions, self-judgment, they also want to be respected by others, therefore, they will put their energy to finish their tasks in the group. In this way, the quality of the tasks is excellent.

Based on the potent reasons I mentioned above, It is reasonable for universities evaluate students by giving every members of the group same credit.

先说好的：总体结构不错，分2方面分别论述，各自都有分论点。
不过个人感觉第二部分论证的不是很充分，而且有点偏离主题：judge students ability and evaluate their work. 个别语句的中文翻译现象很明显。
