A company is going to give some money either to support the arts or to protect the environment. Which do you think the company should choose? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.

Nowadays, companies contribute money to the society for some reasons. When it comes to the choice between supporting the arts and protecting the environment, different people have different views.  From my perspective, the company should use money to protect the environment. My arguments are listed as follows.

The main reason for my propensity for protecting the environment is that the company should be responsible for preventing the environment from pollution which it causes directly and indirectly. It is universally acknowledged the fact that many diseases and illness results from and are attributed to environmental pollution. Protecting the environment will make sure that people are able to enjoy better lives. Therefore, money spent on environmental protection will make it possible to help people lead healthier lives.

Another reason for my point is that protecting the environment is great benefit to promote the development of the company. In modern society, a company produces pollutants are restricted to develop. Furthermore, people are very willing to buy the healthy and unpolluted goods called green food taking into account their own health. Hence, in order to their existence and development, a company should be obliged to give money to protect the environment.

In addition, it is helpful for improving the images of companies to put money into environmental protection. A company makes an investment in environmental protection because it wants to gain a profit. If it gives some money to conserve the environment, a company, to a great extend, will be respected by people. At the same time, this investment will have a profound impact on the further development.

Admittedly, it is also beneficial for a company to support the arts because it will make people enjoyment and brings about people’s mental health, but it carries few advantages than protecting the environment does.

In conclusion, I still agree that a company should choose to give money to protecting the environment.

In conclusion, I still agree that a company should choose to give money to protecting the environment.
