这个题目挺难写，我感觉我的第二个论点纯粹是硬凑出来的

Giving emphasis on practical courses or general courses is a headache for any school administrator when arranging curriculum. It is hard to draw a conclusion on this topic. From my personal point of view, I consider that larger proportion of school time should be allocated in practical subjects.

Most of the students will embrace the society after they graduate from school. Taking courses that focus on future career have positive effect when students entering the job market. The knowledge they acquired at these classes can be used directly. When students learned how to utilize programming language in computer class, this skill can serves as a powerful tools when they are to work in IT industry. And the demands come from companies are almost practical skills rather than theory knowledge. Therefore, obtaining more practical knowledge will greatly enhance the competitiveness of the students.

Besides, practical subjects are relatively more easier to be accepted by students. Practical subjects are more funny and interesting since they always contain laboratory works and field study sections which help students utilize what they learned in classes into practice. While most of general courses are difficult to understand which may result in students losing confidence and interest and thus become unwilling to staying in school. The explanation for this phenomenon is that students see little connection between knowledge and realistic world. This is obviously far from the expectation of both the school and parents.

Moreover, subjects preparing for future career can serve as a assistant for students to accept and understand general courses. I was once confused about the meaning of studying Mathematics since the equation and formula seems far away from my daily life. However, after I studied the Digital Image course, I soon realized the necessarily of learning Mathematics since all of the Digital Image course is about vectors and formulas which I have learned in Mathematics. It also makes my understanding of the formula and theory more profoundly and comprehensively.

Therefore, I believe it is pretty reasonable that school spend more time in teaching about preparing for future career and jobs.
