It is better to finish one project and then start another than to finish two projects at the same time.
People in today’s society are engaged in so many things and usually they are confused whether they should start two projects at the same time or finish one first and then start another. Both method may have their advantages, in my opinion, I however, strongly accept that we should start two projects at the same time.

First of all, the quick pace of today’s society doesn’t always allow us to start one project after finishing another, we are mostly required to start two or more projects at the same time. This is reasonable because the success always attribute to several factors. We have to prepare everything at the same time to achieve it. I think we don’t lack for such examples on individuals or in business companies. An example for studying abroad might exemplify this point. In order to be admitted by a foreign university, we need to improve our English and learn some professional knowledge in order to achieve the requirement of the Foreigh School, we can look on these two processes as two projects. We can’t study English first and learn professional knowledge then, especially when the time is limited. We would fail then if we do so, as if we lay down what we have learn for a long time, whether English or professional knowledge, we may forget it. That would weaken our quality for the enrollment. So it is a good idea to start both English learning and professional knowledge learning at the same time.

Further more, when starting two projects at the same time, the two projects may promote each other and at last being finished much better. We all know that things are full of association with each other. Such associations, if noticed, may inspire us in dealing with these projects. But they maybe ignored if started separately. Still I’d like to take studying abroad as an example. As I start to learn English and at the same time I learn specialized knowledge, I really benefit a lot from it. I try to read some professional papers in English sometimes. This is really a gainful experience, as I can improve my English as well as learn something in the professional field. In this way I kill two birds with just one stone, and these two projects promote each other a lot.

In general, I believe it’s better to start two projects at the same time than start one after finish another project, because we must prepare all the factors for success at the same time, and sometimes these two projects may promote each other a lot.
