In our common sense, doing homework is a obviously normal duty to a student. But also someone suspect the necessity of daily homework. They claim that students should pay more time to enjoy the carefree days, and daily homework will deprive the time of playing. Personally speaking though I hate homework very much, I still hold that it is necessary for students to do daily homework.
As we all know, homework is used to help students to solidify the knowledge which learn from teachers in the class.  If the assignment doesn’t exit, the most potential problem is we may forget the content of the class which we took last day. And the teacher has to help us to review the class., which should be our own task.

Spending time to do homework also can help to decrease the time of playing outside, which helps to reduce the possibility of getting touch with unsuitable recreations. The homework disappear, the problem emerge. Once I have a good friend who studies very hard. When he got into the high school, he completely changed. He played mass of PC games and made friends with bad guys. And the reason is no homework the teacher will give you in high school. Assigning homework is really a good method to keep young students from getting too close to unhealthy recreations.

Besides these two, through checking homework, teacher can discover the problems in the process of teaching as soon as possible and solve them. In the contrast, these deficiencies in students’ knowledge system only can be found in the last examination. It may be too late. And for students themselves, homework will be benefit to their self discovering. It is also a goal of education.

To sum up, homework and assignment are obligatory for education. It is a kind of duty of students.(306)
