ISSUE51 - "Education will be truly effective only when it is specifically designed to meet the individual needs and interests of each student."

The speaker asserts that only when it is designed to meet the individual needs and interests of the students , will the education be truly effective . I truly agree that education which meets the individual's needs and interests is very helpful to the students . But when it comes to the statement , I should say I will have my reservations .
We all say that needs and interests are the best teacher to children . So education cater to students' needs and interests are quite right . More interests a student has in the disciplines , more enthusiasm he or she will have in learning . If a student is eager to learn , and spends increasingly time immersing in it , as a result , he or she will surely master it well . Therefore , needs and interests are vital parts of education , as expected in the studying process , as ink to a pen and wheels to a mobile . So we should try to make the education meets the individual’s needs and interests , then we will get lots of profits from it .

On the other hand , as to the society , education concerted with the individual needs and interests of each student is not most effective . The executors should not ignore the fact that the resources we have of the education are infinite . In a certain realm , perhaps we haven't got enough pedagogues to teach every student who has the needs and interests in this subject . In this situation , we can't meet all the needs and so haven't distributed the resources to the most efficacious way . Additionally , for some subjects , in a certain area , for example a province or a city , we cannot have enough adults to form a class , which always means the adults could not have a comparable criterion of their learning process . If learning without a standard , how can you say that a adult learns well or bad ? So we can not say it is effective either .

Another aspect must not be neglect is that nearly all specialized science or art have a common base , a base of a person's primary skill to live in the world , a base that as a composite of people's primary cognitions of the universe . Every people live in the world should master some fundamental disciplines , such as mathematics , the preliminary understand of music and paintings and also languages . Without these knowledge , human can not live a comfortable life and can not have a resonance with the nature . So in my view , a specialization of the teaching could be effective only after these fundamental disciplines have be accomplished by the individuals . For this , another question is involved . Since these fundamental disciplines are just treated as a need to live better in the world , so it's examination must be a level test but not a high-score shoot . For this , people like Einstein will not be recognized as dad-done students and lose their possibility to develop their accomplishments such as the relativistic theory .

In sum , I hold the view that , though it is a need to specialize our education to meet each student’s interest , as to make education effective , we should consider all aspects connected with teaching resources and fundamental disciplines' learning .
