The assertion prefers a national curriculum over the domestic curriculum before the students enter college. I agree with this assertion insofar as a universal curriculum would benefit both the country and different regions. However, I posit that different parts of the nation should have some freedom to set particular courses that they think would be appropriate.
On the one handon one hand, I agree that a national basic curriculum would benefit both individuals and the country in several aspects. First, the proper function of elementary school, in my view, is to impart fundamental knowledge and basic study skills, therefore help all students build up their personal study system which will facilitate their future study. In this sense, a universal course will ensure an equal quality of this fundamental knowledge and skills. Since, no mater where the student is, he or she will receive the same course.
Secondly, a universal course will prepare the students in all parts of the nation for their higher education. Because the programs and curricula that universities and colleges provided will be universal ones, by which I mean students wherever they come will study the same things. Thus if the elementary schools executive national curriculum that provide same prerequisite course, inform the students same background knowledge and common sense will undoubtedly help the students understand the courses and communicate with others who are from different places. 这句话是不是漏词了,没太看懂,还有same前面是不是应该加the? In short, receiving a universal course will best prepare them for their future higher education.
Finally, a universal course will also benefit the country. Executing the universal course will facilitate the performance evaluation. Since all students no matter where they are receive same course thereby same knowledge是要用定语从句吗?还是应该用让步的?读的很别扭(前面也有几个),same前面没有the, it is much easier to set up a universal examination to evaluate the study of students, therefore provide equal opportunities to enter universities and colleges for every student(therefore是连词,后面怎么没有主语).
On the other hand, the local course will have benefits, too. Firstly, different regions may have their unique customs, ethics and traditions, as well as their specific arts. Thus permit local courses will facilitate those heritages be passed on by generations,in turn will benefit the ethical diverse of the whole nation句子有问题,permitting or permition of, facilitate的用法我不太了解,只是觉得不对,diversity多样性.
Secondly, every place(换个说法) has some specific advantages, allowing schools in different parts to determine some academic courses based on these advantages will benefit the students there. For example, a Now York school could set some business-related courses since New York is the business and commercial heart of the world, it has the unique advantages to provide such business-related course as visiting New York Stock Exchange or Federal Reserve which are 去掉other places have no chance to offer. These courses will be a bonus of the students in New York.
To sum up, I believe the best approach for a nation to set their elementary school courses is to integrate the universal curriculum, which provide the fundamental knowledge and wholesome personal study system, and the local courses, which offer specific ethical and domestic knowledge.
结构比较清楚,不过有几个问题:用词应该考虑多样化一些,universial是不是可以用general或者别的;定语从句的使用以及句子总会出现一些语法错误,注意一下(刚考完T不应该这样啊) |
