提出基本同意的观点
In this age of intensive media coverage, it is no longer possible for a society to regard any woman or man as a hero. The reputation of anyone who is subjected to media scrutiny will eventually be diminished.

Because of the intensive media coverage, our society will not regard any woman or man as a hero. I generally agree with the assertion that the function of mass media is to make our society transparent so that the public can easily get informative affairs from government meanwhile excellent individuals for imitation. Moreover, the media scrutiny will eventually enhance or diminish the reputation of so-called hero, that no concept of hero can be seen as generally expected.

The chief reason why I generally agree with the statement has to do with the motivation of mass media. The purpose of any types of radio reports, newspaper and magazines, television programs is to maximize profit they intend to get.  Catering to the taste of the public, media industry is most likely to have intensive media coverage which usually focus on sensational issue from well-known individuals whose personal life the public usually cares about.(interested in) The reputation of anyone who is subjected to media cannot be determined by public but by mass media. No one is born without mistakes. It is possible that although get personal achievement in certain field , one can hardly avoid exceptional flaws. When captured the key points, the reputation, more or less, will be obscure in the process of media process.

There is no doubt that there are a large number of people who have been hurt in one way or another by particularly intense media scrutiny. For seeking the profit from the power of public, the media coverage always contains a preference to which entice viewers and readers to pay attention that facts might be hidden behind media scrutiny. In addition, the negative effect comes into being when over emphasize the 'fact' that the media confirms to. The media uncovered Clinton scandal with Monica Lenwinsky result in impeachment of the president and eventually financial costs to taxpayer, even bad effect on trade with other nations.

On the other hand, The reputation of general people who are not famous enough for the public will sometimes be enhanced by media power. An ordinary people was not recognized by the public until he or she sacrifice his or her life for saving the life of a fallen child. By impressive report, the public would regard the person as a hero and the heroic death would further to be a good example for children education. United State’s election of government activity takes media as a tool to acquire more votes from American people. Through the platform can people judge their heroes in their hearts to enhance their insights.

In sum, I generally agree with the statement that in the age of intensive media coverage, no perfect men exits in the public sides, it is no longer possible for a society to regard any woman or man as a hero. But every coin has its two sides, and there can also be a hero whose reputation widely spread through the public by positive function of the media.

Because of the intensive media coverage, our society will not regard any woman or man as a hero. I generally agree with the assertion that the function of mass media is to make our society transparent so that the public can easily get informative affairs from government meanwhile excellent individuals for imitation. (感觉有些乱,没怎么看懂这句话) Moreover, the media scrutiny will eventually enhance or diminish the reputation of so-called hero, that no concept of hero can be seen as generally expected.

The chief reason why I generally agree with the statement has to do with the motivation of mass media. The purpose of any types of (such as) radio reports, newspaper and magazines, (and) television programs is to maximize (the) profit they intend to get.  Catering to the taste of the public, media industry is most likely to have intensive media coverage which usually focus on sensational issue(s) from well-known individuals whose personal life the public usually cares about (interested in). The reputation of anyone who is subjected to media cannot be determined by public but by mass media. No one is born without mistakes. It is possible that although get(ting/having got) personal achievement in certain field, one can hardly avoid exceptional flaws. When captured the key points, the reputation, more or less, will be obscure in the process of media process.

There is no doubt that there are a large number of people who have been hurt in one way or another by particularly intense media scrutiny. For seeking the profit from the power of (有点罗嗦,建议删掉)public, the media coverage always contains (hold) a preference to which entice viewers and readers to pay attention that facts might be hidden behind media scrutiny. In addition, the negative effect comes into being when over emphasize the 'fact' that the media confirms to. The media uncovered Clinton scandal with Monica Lenwinsky result(ing) in impeachment of the president and eventually financial costs to taxpayer, even bad effect on trade with other nations.

On the other hand, The (sometimes the) reputation of general people who are not famous enough for (to) the public (will sometimes) (may) be enhanced by media power. An ordinary people (person) was not recognized by the public until he or she sacrifice(s) his or her life for saving the life of a fallen child. By impressive report, the public would regard the person as a hero and the heroic death would further to be a good example for children education. United State’s election of government activity takes media as a tool to acquire more votes from American people. Through the platform can people judge their heroes in their hearts to enhance their insights.(最后这两句感觉和主题句关联不密切,并不general)

In sum, I generally agree with the statement that in the age of intensive media coverage, no perfect men (person) exits in the public sides,(;/ and/ therefore 两个句子不能直接这么连吧?) it is no longer possible for a society to regard any woman or man as a hero. But every coin has its two sides, and there can also be a hero whose reputation widely spread through the public by positive function of the media.

整体看来,感觉语言不是很流畅(或许与我水平有关)按照我自己的想法给做了些改动,其中不当的地方还往谅解。觉得比我的好不少,咱们都需要继续努力!加油!
