From my point of view, it is necessary to launch a global university in order to resolve international social problems because different nations could muster together and different backgrounds may cause wit sparkles. Moreover the global university provides an opportunity and an efficient way to resolve mutual problems. However I concede that there are potential difficulties in establishing such a university.

First of all, students from different countries and diverse culture backgrounds have a chance to muster together, which may cause wit sparkles. For one thing, different nations' students are educated in distinct ways and the angles of interpreting problems may be dissimilar. Thus the approach of resolving issues may vary, which is favored for finding out the most reasonable and effective way. For another thing, students symbolize their own nation's perspectives, which avoid the final decision determined by only a few influential countries. In fact, the global university is an avenue to synthesize all nations' opinions and take account of benefits of all countries. Therefore a global university could utilize wit sparkles made by different nations and consider every country's benefits to solve world's problems.

In addition, it is efficient to centralize scattered efforts to resolve international problems. For example, one of the world's serious issues is the terrorism. If all nations in the world could cooperate and take actions internationally to eliminate terrorists, the terrorists gain no support and the justice is enlarged and strengthened. Consequently, the terrorism could decline gradually because of the whole society's stress. Accordingly, the association of the world is significant to settle such international issues.

Furthermore, such a global university is in favor of the enhancement of understanding each other, which may decrease conflicts and wars. As far as I am concerned, lacking of communicating and comprehension is one of the reasons leading to conflicts or wars. The establishment of a global university creates a chance of different countries to express their views about issues and why they support or oppose some actions. Thus before taking actions, the nation may consider comprehensively and make a balance between benefits and loss, which enable each action to become wise and reasonable.

Meanwhile, it is undoubtedly to concede that some potential and complicated difficulties exist in launching such a university. On the one hand, different nations face diverse social problems and there might be controversies between countries because it is difficult to identify the world's most persistent social problems. So it is necessary for countries to discuss what is the most persistent social issues. On the other hand, equality between countries is a guaranteed factor for the effective management. It is important to respect each other and treat equally each other whatever the economic status of a nation is. In other words, the discrimination of developing or even poor countries should be abstained.

To sum up, there are a number of advantages to launch a global university to resolve globalizing knotty issues, such as population growth, drug traffic, racial discrimination, AIDS, greenhouse effect and so forth.
