Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? People can learn more from watching television than reading books. Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.

In this Information Age, watching TV is common.
And with the various functions of watching TV, such as making people see the world in a minute, learn languages conveniently that they want to learn, get variety of information at the first time, people can learn more than reading books.

First of all, watching TV makes it possible for us to see the world in a minute. For example, I am in China, and have no chance to go to Africa now. How can I have an opportunity to learn what the life is like in Egypt? In this case, TV programs are of great help. As long as I watch a documentary film, I can clearly know what I want to know. While I read a book, I can hardly imagine how the people in Egypt work, live, or communicate.

At the other hand, a language TV program will be of great help to the people who want to learn a certain language. There is a TV program teaching people English in the “Shanghai Chanel Young”. I used to watch this program every day, and it did help me with my English. I will never forget the word “swan”, since it was taught in the program in a really vivid way. Compared to reading books, there are so many special ways in TV programs, and this makes people learn English more easily. At least, people can remember words more quickly.

Thirdly, the information people get from reading books are almost those happened some time ago. It cannot be denied that when people watching TV, they can immediately know what is happening in the world, because journalists from countries of the world are collecting, conveying, and reporting all kinds of information throughout the day.

With so many supporting ideas, we can draw a conclusion that people can learn more from watching TV than reading books.
Dawn is in the morning.

At the hand, a language TV program will be of great help to(for) the people who want to learn a certain language. There is a TV program teaching people English in the “Shanghai Chanel Young”. (好像把那个单词的意思在解释在这里举例就更完整了)Compared to reading books, there are so many special ways in TV programs, and this makes people learn English more easily. Thirdly, the information people get from reading books are almost those happened some time ago(换成happend in the past好一点吧). It cannot be denied that when people watching TV, they can immediately know what is happening in the world, because journalists from world countries(?) are collecting, conveying, and reporting all kinds of information throughout the day.

整篇文章感觉论证不太有力,句型稍显单一,我也有一样的问题,共同进步吧~
