Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? In today’s world, to speak well is more important than to write well. Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.(07.1.26)
Modern technology has made communication move into a new era.Not only can we reach our friends by Emails, but, if telecommunication is available, we can even talk to them, regardless of distance. As far as I am concerned, I believe the ability to speak well is more crucial than that of writing well. For speaking has merits as follows.

For one thing, compared to writing, speaking saves more time. Many of us may have experienced the suffering when we have to write an essay for hours. With limited time,we have to write quickly and neatly. However, speaking will save us a great amount of trouble. By illustrating sophisticated ideas and giving examples by oral expressions, we may impart our ideas to audience in a few minutes.

In addition, speaking boasts the merit of more interaction. Writing emails, letters may cause some unpredictable misunderstanding. Talking to your audience, you can figure out wether you need to go back to the former idea,or to give more details through their expressions and behaviours. This efficiency, however, can never be reached through writing. What is more, you may bewilder your readers if you take it for granted that some terminologies  are known to all readers.

Finally, speaking can give audience a chance to peer into the lecturers' characters and personalities. Some lecturers would like to organize their talk in a logistic manner, which, to some extent, indicates that he likes logic and critical thinking; other lecturers, on the other hand, may arrive at anything coming from his mind.He may prefer something romantic, unrealistic.

In conclusion, different means of communications have their merits respectively, depending on circumstances. Writing may enable writers to specify ideas in a more detailed manner, and the contents in books is easy to preserve. But considering the ideas above, I would say talking is a better method of communication.

Many of us may have experienced the(of) suffering when we (have to)去掉 write an essay for hours. With limited time,we have to write quickly and neatly. However, speaking will save us a great amount of trouble. By illustrating sophisticated ideas and giving examples by oral expressions(这是个不可数名词吧,S去掉), we may impart our ideas to audience in a few minutes.
(第一个好处,节约时间)

lIn addition, speaking boasts the merit of more interaction. Writing emails, letters may cause some unpredictable misunderstanding. Talking to your audience, you can figure out wether(whether) you need to go back to the former idea,or to give more details through their expressions and behaviours(改成reaction好不?). This efficiency,(这段不是要写interaction嘛?为什么又提到效率?) however, can never be reached through writing. What is more, you may bewilder your readers if you take it for granted that some terminologies  are known to all readers.

Finally, speaking can give audience a chance to peer into the lecturers' characters and personalities. 结构非常标准,语言相当的好,挑不出什么毛病,非常期待楼主的分数,也感谢楼主辛苦为我批改,在下感激不尽
