51"Education will be truly effective only when it is specifically designed to meet the individual needs and interests of each student."

In the modern society, education, as the foundation of the society and individual's success, has played a more and more important role. Generally speaking, everyone has the right to receive education which is designed for their own interests and need. Yet, the speaker limited the scope of this common sense to the only criterion of judgement of education. I do not totally agree such a narrow description of education.

To begin with, it is no doubt that education should meet students' interests and needs. Interests, the source of one's success, enable people keep thinking and exploring. When philosophers of ancient Greece first have the strong interests in some essential questions such as what is the world and where we come from, human begin to find out true answers about this world. That is to say, interests is the start-point of human knowledge. So developing students' interests and meeting their needs is kind a of foundation of the process of pursuing truth. John Nash, a American mathematician and economist who share the Nobel Price in Economic Science, has used to get schizophrenia, but he still have a strong interest in mathematic. Princeton admitted he stay in school for nearly 20 years to get the treatment and still allowed Nash do his own research, although many people believe that Nash was crazy. This attitude of tolerance and encouragement develop students' interests and promote human knowledge actively.

However, there is no possibility to meet all of individuals' needs and to be designed for each student. A practical problem is resources of education are limited while compare with the number of so many students. Yet, that is not the most important factor. After all, we are will to do anything for boosting human society's progression. The problem is our student cannot be restrained in their own and surely narrow world. Every student need basic education for their happy life and for our society's harmony. Suppose a student who learn chemical science never receive general education, and he will never know what is morality, what is humanity and what purpose his major should pursue. He may serve for evil to produce bombs, and the aftermath is beyond our imagination. Anther example is the 1955 Russell-Einstein Manifesto which is signed by 11 physicists and intellectuals of the time call for nuclear disarmament. As we can see, even scientist need to have humanistic spirit, and even philosopher need to understand the new progression of science. Thus, general education are needed, and it is unfair that regard wether meet individual's interests and needs as a only criterion to judge education.

At last, for clarifying this statement, we should answer the question that what kind of education is our need. In my view, education should not assume the responsibility to teach the specific knowledge, although it is a important and beneficial mission of education. As a adage said, teach people how to fish rather than to give them fish. Education is a process ofdeveloping a critical perspective for exploration of unknown. In this sense, wether specific education or general education are both needed.

In the modern society, education, as the foundation of the society and individual's success, has played a more and more important role.(个人认为这句话不如把in the modern society放到句尾,这样比较通顺,而且原句好像少点什么没说完一样) Generally speaking, everyone has the right to receive education which is(把which is 省去可能更简洁) designed for their own interests and need(前面复数,后面呢?). Yet, the speaker limited the scope of this common sense to the only criterion of judgement of education. I do not totally agree such a narrow description of education.

To begin with, it is no doubt that education should meet students' interests and needs. Interests, the source of one's success, enable people to keep thinking and exploring. When philosophers of ancient Greece first have (had)the strong interests in some essential questions such as what is the world and where we come from, human begin (began)to find out true answers about this world. That is to say, interests is the start-point of human knowledge. So developing students' interests and meeting their needs is kind a of foundation of the process of pursuing truth. John Nash, a American mathematician and economist who shares the Nobel Price in Economic Science, has used to get schizophrenia, but he still have a strong interest in mathematic. Princeton admitted he stay in school for nearly 20 years to get the treatment and still allowed Nash do his own research, (用句号,另成一句)although many people believe that Nash was crazy. This attitude of tolerance and encouragement develop students' interests and promote human knowledge actively.(这个例子的问题:整段有时候是现在时,有时候是过去时;最后你说他crazy,不过看起来不是那么能说明问题。反而变成了他的坚强我们应该学习)

However, there is no possibility to meet all of(去掉吧,加个the) individuals' needs and to be designed for each student. A practical problem is resources of education are limited while compare (被动,compared)with the number of so many students(不如用the large number of,个人觉得地道点). Yet, that is not the most important factor. After all, we are will to do anything for boosting human society's progression. The problem is our student cannot be restrained in their own and surely narrow world.这个地方好像很混乱,你之前说不可能都满足,但又说这不是重点,而后你有开始强调个人兴趣。这个逻辑很混乱。 Every student need basic education for their happy life and for our society's harmony. Suppose a student who learn单数 chemical science never receive general education, and he will never know what is morality, what is humanity and what purpose his major should pursue. He may serve for evil to produce bombs, and the aftermath is beyond our imagination. Anther example is the 1955 Russell-Einstein Manifesto which is signed by 11 physicists and intellectuals of the time call for nuclear disarmament. As we can see, even scientist need单数 to have humanistic spirit, and even philosopher need to understand the new progression of science. Thus, general education are also needed, and it is unfair that如果是从句,后面无主语,改成to regard wether meet individual's interests and needs as a only criterion to judge education.

At last, for clarifying this statement, we should answer the question that what kind of education is our need(其实你可以写needed on our behalf). In my view, education should not assume the responsibility to teach the specific knowledge, although it is a important and beneficial mission of education. As a adage said, teach people how to fish rather than to give them fish. Education is a process ofdeveloping a critical perspective for exploration of unknown. In this sense, wether specific education or general education are both needed

这篇文章,你的字数似乎不够。逻辑不对,很混乱,甚至我感觉有点小跑题。比如说的是兴趣最重要,你却在最后说授之以渔,这个似乎不搭
