Nowadays, we students have many holidays. Generally speaking, we have more than 90 days of holidays in total. Except for those Saturdays and Sundays, out time in classes are so limited. In my points of view, we should assure ourselves to have at least 11 months to be in our classroom. That would make our study process more effective .
First and for most, the assurance of the amount of time is the basic element for the accomplishment of a process. If you spent more time, you would gain more. It is such a simple theory. For instance, those people who have occupation income do work for more than 11 months a year. Why don’t they have a longer holiday like our students? There is no doubt that doing this would slow down their procedure and make them unproductive. So they would be less competitive than the other corporations and eliminated in their field. And a same situation comes in the study aspect. Those students who are facing the entrance examination in our country do have such a long time of being in their classes for the same reason. So, why not increase our time for classes to make it better?
Secondly, most of students just waste their holiday period for useless things. Some people would say that the holiday has given students some time to relax themselves so they will be more energetic next semester. However, things often go to the opposite side. For instance, as far as I’m concerned, a large amount of students are addicted to some web games such as WOW. They have spent their energy in such kinds of games instead of relaxing themselves. So the original purpose hasn’t been achieved! In my perspective, one of the mainly reasons for this phenomenon is that they have enough time to spend on the game during the long period holiday. If we eliminated the holiday, they wouldn’t have time to play. So most of the players would have little time to be in the virtue world. In this way, they couldn’t do such kind of meaningless thing and have more time to study.
To sum up, it’s high time we transformed the strategy. On one hand, it could make our study more effective ; on the other hand, it could solve some serious social problems. Why not turn to such a beneficial way?
