With a limited financial resource,the government has to decide what investment is to be made,just as a recent problem that has been brought into focus about whether access to internet should come first before public transportation.As a matter of fact,a rapid development of internet obviously owns more significance.

The first reason is that internet possesses the capability to accelerate one's efficiency in work.As is known to all,due to speedy pace of social development,today jobs command more than that in the past.In order to accomplish one's assignment with not only high quality but also efficiency,every now and then would one get access to the internet for information,including physics,philosophy,chemistry and so forth.suppose that one has to collect some important data of some certain area without internet,he or she would have to go to a library or refer to other friends,which really robs too much time.

In addition,it's only part of the truth.With relatively simpler access to the internet,one would obtain more entertainments to release his or her pressure.In the cities,especially those who are not metropolitan ones,life would be tedium without internet.However,the situation would completely different as long as the access to internet is assured.For instance,one is able to visit forums,play chess or communicate to the friends by instant messager such as MSN and QQ,which,to great extent,enlarge the contents of one's life.

Admittedly,I don't deny that investment on transportation has its own merits.For people would feel convenient when going out and the emissions from personal vehicles would be reduced in a great deal.But if I were forced to made a choice,I wouldn't hesitate to invest on access to internet because efficient information collection and access to sorts of entertainments have already become  indispensable parts in our daily life.

So,to sum it up,investment on access to internet should precede that on public transportation because it is far more meaningful and of greater significance.
