人们应不应该被允许在公共交通(巴士、火车、飞机)上抽烟(看错题了 就这样吧 急)。
In our daily life, we may encounter variousquestions that are tough to answer. Confronting such an issue that whethersmoking should be forbidden on public transportation such as bus, train andplane, some people commonly respond with an Yes, others, however, converselyhold the opposite view. From my personal perspective, I cling to the later ideaas a result of my daily life experience.
To begin with, nobody could deny the factthat smoking would seriously threat the health of people around the smoker, especially on the transportation tools where the space is compact and the airfloes slowly. Under this circumstance, it is natural that people would beharmed even more severely. I can find numerous examples to illustrate thisposition, among which the Beijing's smoking forbidden policy is definitely aperfect typical instance that ever since Beijing restricted the smoking onpublic transportation last year, the rate of cancer disease droppedsignificantly, as is said by the Beijing Daily early this year.
Besides, it is a crucial concern thatsmoking at this public may be fatal to the public security. For example, earlyin last year, one bus caught fire solely because of one passenger’s cigaretteignited the faculty on the bus and that leads to an catastrophe of over 20 deaths.
Nevertheless, I cannot omit thedisadvantage of the restriction of smoking on these tools. Those who areaddicted to the smoking would experience a tough time there. However, it isobvious that those benefits of a better health and public security couldoutweigh those defects, and the harms of smoking could also be fixed by a more regulatedsmoking behavior.
Taking all above into consideration, Isupport the statement that public transportation tools should be non-smokingarea. Admittedly, the deduction above just enhanced the rationality of my pointof view from several chief aspects and I can continue the discussion from otherdomains, such as fewer conflictions. For instance, according to a surveyconducted by the China Social Research Center, over thirty percent quarrels onthe bus are caused by the smoking. As I have demonstrated my perception from somany factors, I regard my inclination that smoking should by banned on publictransportation is thorough, convincing and justified.
