2.6 Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Teachers should not show their political or social views known in the classroom.

It is hard to determine whether teachers should show their political or social views known in the classroom. But I strongly agree with the statement that teachers should not show their political or social view known in the classroom, as discussed below.
The first reason why I fundamentally agree with the statement has to do with the duty what teachers should have. Teachers should give basic knowledge and analysis method to student, especially for technology science subject. Even for history course, what the teachers should do is just telling the truth and background, and let students think themselves, rather than showing their political or social view.
The second argument, and I think is the most compelling one, is the formation process of students’ political or social view which largely determines their attitude to life. School education is the key step for this process. The teacher’s view or emotion will undoubtedly affect the thinking and decision making process. So both society and government should afford to make the teaching environment as objective as possible, rather than exposing teachers’ view on student.
In sum, teachers should not show their political or social view in classroom. The only thing they should do is let students study and analysis themselves.
