University students should be required to take basic science classes even if they are not part of the field of the study。


No big events happen in vacuum, there are thousands of reasons behind them. Perception on basic science renders us the chance of exploring and understanding those. We are in the world being of fierce competition, partly for this reason, most people make the allegation that learning basic science is a waste of time which would have been spent in more profitable lessons, such as finance and economy classes. However, for my part, basic science class as the foundation where our whole knowledge builds up, it is unwise for an enlightened man to neglect this.

To begin with, learning basic science classes broadens our horizon. The society is calling for specialty and expertin single field lead to the limitation on knowledge for the talents. University and high school or even some compulsory education tend to provide us with knowledge in constraint field. Not only is our knowledge restrained so does our mind which is so vigorous exposed to a large range of knowledge scope. Thought at one time, we may look at the short-term interest turned out from such limitation, before very long, we will be complaining the drawbacks resulting from those. Without understanding basic science, our nation lay most focus on their vocation which feed their family. Such kind of focus is achieved at the expense of culture decline to some degree, civilization decay.
One can think of that when deprived of the understanding on basic science, one is sure of losing the enthusiasm in nature,say the nature wonder such as blue sky, snowcapped mountain and astounding sunset. In this regards, basic science is imperative in our life to broaden our interest by widening our eyesight.

Moreover, basic science keeps the man fromsuperstition. It shouldn't be forgotten that our china undergone thousandsyears of under developing due to superstition. Later years of education hasgradually raise people's awareness of the basic scientific knowledge. Peoplecome to realize that how stupid they are to exhaust time and energy onsuperstition instead of on endeavors and strenuous work. Lacking basic scienceknowledge, men are more likely to be confused by mysterious cases life has tooffer. It is not strange for us to claim that some people are bestowed withsuper power say seeing the dead people or even communicating with them on thebehalf of the alive relatives. Such ridiculous mysteries have been deeplybelieve by our nation and passed on from generation to generation. Theresponsibility to contribute to and enhance our nation's development is bindingto all the university students esteems as nation’s hope. Basic science isdefinitely critical in their class schedules.

Furthermore, basic science equips more repaired man for the future career. Grasping the knowledge of basic science, man proves to the future employers the ability to confront all possible challenges. Communication is utmost in the road to a person professionl success. The key of communication is to express and to be understood. The conversation involved in basic science more often renders an obstruct for the basic science ignorant listener. For instance, in an talk between boss and employee, the mention of galaxy by boss induces a blank in the listener's mind. His wordless or ridiculous response explains his innocent in basic science. The possibility of being relied upon by the boss is least.
