I agree with the speaker that in order to improve the quality of instruction at college and university level, faculty should be spend time working outside the academic world in relevant to the courses.A contrary view would reveal that academic without connected with other academic will be decline sooner or later. Nevertheless, professors only working outside relevant the courses to they tech is also limited and have disadvantage to themselves and their students. Otherwise, professors should working outside widely.

One can effectively improve the quality of instruction at the college and university level by faculty spend time working outside world in relevant to courses they tech. Everything connected with others including academic areas. Such as advertisement, when advertisement faculty tech their students, they have introduced other classes like art, photography and literature or philosophy and other courses related to advertisement.

It is necessarily through by relevant courses to that one could increase professor’s knowledge. However, only spending time on coloration subjects is not enough for either professor or student.
There are two reasons to support the point of view.

Firstly, each academic area have connected with too much other academia, which is relevant to the course is no concept to illustrate. For instance, chemical academic is the best intimate to the medical course, but if professors in medical professional only spending time on chemical without research other academia which have no such intimate to medical course, it will limit the medical science develop. Music can make patients relax and advantage for treatment, if professor of medical science do not working on musicology more or less, how can they know it.

Secondly, when professors know more about other course knowledge, it will not improve themselves scholarship and college level but also make their students’ success more possibly. For instance, Socrates have a famous student who is Plato which is helped to lay the foundations of natural philosophy, science, and Western philosophy. His success is based on his teacher who is widely knowledge in both philosophy and science. The more teacher know, the more his students will gain.

In sum up, professor only be required to spend time working outside academic world in professions relevant to the courses they tech is not enough, they should also gain more knowledge in widely academia.
