I totally agree with this statement. In our modern society, people are always facing different choices. But, sometimes do not realize this. It is quite important that people should not only have the rights to choose but also choose freely.

At the every beginning, we can always hearing friends around us complaining: We have to do this. We have no other choices. But when we calm down, considering it twice, we may find out that we still have other ways to go but not good for our development or daily live. For example, students hate to go to school every day. When teachers ask them to finish homework, they will feel terrible loosing time for fun. For this reason, kids began to complain. To avoid being punished, they would try best to finish in time. In children's mind, they may think they are under the control of teachers and parents, no choices at all. However, actually, they can give up studying. As a result of this, they acknowledge nothing except playing after graduating from school. What is worse, they can not live in a well condition caused by their choices made years before. There are other more examples to support my ideas. Therefore, it is life and moral make us have the feeling of no choices to select.

Secondly, admitting that the absence of choice is very rare does not mean we can choose freely. As a member of the society, we have the responsibility to ensure out world is driving in the right direction. When faced with the well-being of country, we may need to give up our individual interest. This kind of situation also leads us loosing the choice. In a war, when a soldier was arrested by enemy, he often had two choices. One was telling the information of your army about what was your plan, how many soldiers came here which may keep you live for a long time. The other one was keep everything secretly guaranteeing your country to win the war and save your companies' live. So in this case, most of the responsible soldiers would choose the latter one giving up their young lives.

Finally, it might good for a person to loose the choice. In this way, they can focus on the subjects and devoting all themselves into it. Without no fallback position, they would more possible achieve what they desire most. For instance, if a candidate never thinks about what if failed the election and does really not leave a fallback way, he or she would put all attention on the prepare thinking more about how to beat the competitors. Thereby, the final result could be this candidate gets the position of the present.

In summary, we can conclude that the true choice still exists. The statement that it is a rare circumstance that choice is absent is right. However, it is also need to be taken into considerations for the reasons above that sometimes we may have to loose the choice for life, for duty. In this way, people should learn to accept the truth and try their best to overcome all difficulties so that achieve final goal.
