TOPIC: ARGUMENT188 - A new report suggests that men and women experience pain very differently from one another, and that doctors should consider these differences when prescribing pain medications. When researchers administered the same dosage of kappa opioids-a painkiller-to 28 men and 20 women who were having their wisdom teeth extracted, the women reported feeling much less pain than the men, and the easing of pain lasted considerably longer in women. This research suggests that kappa opioids should be prescribed for women whenever pain medication is required, whereas men should be given other kinds of pain medication. In addition, researchers should reevaluate the effects of all medications on men versus women.

The argument above first describes a new report, finding out men and women experience pain differently. Then it suggests about the drugs men and women should taken and the reevaluation of the effects of all medications. After some careful examination, I would point out some logical fallacies as below.

First, the extent that men and women feel about the pain in the research does not necessarily equate the real physical pain they actually endure. Perhaps women are more tolerant than men. So when having the same feeling of pain, women would not decribe the pain as severe as men do in the research. For that matter, it is totally untrustworthy to believe what men and women feel described in the research.

Second, even if the assumption of the argument is true, the suggestion that giving kappa opioids to women whenever they feel pain, and men should be given other kinds of medications is unpersuasive. The research only shows that women feel much less pain and longer time of easing than men, not meaning men do not get released from pain. As long as men have feelings of releasing from the medication, they could take Kappa opioids. In addition, giving women medicine whenever they desire would lead them to addiction in the end.

Third, reevaluations of the effects of all medications are making a false analog. While kappa opioids' effects are based on men and women's feeling about pain, other medicine might focus on other physical conditions that men and women show no different. For instance, medications for cold can just heal the patients if they have the symptoms of cold. Drugs for high blood pressure have the same effect on men and women.

In conclusion, the author makes some conclusions on the basis of a report, but none of them is reliable.

Then it suggests about the drugs(用词好像不对哦,句意不通) men and women should taken and the reevaluation of the effects of all medications. After some careful examination, I would(语气不强) point out some logical fallacies as below. 第一段应该要出现关键词哦kappa opioids

文章行文不错,但展开部分还是欠缺。首尾指明也不是太完整
