44 Some people like to travel with a companion. Other people prefer to travel alone. Which do you prefer? Use specific reasons and examples to support your choice.

Traveling is something that makes our lives more colorful, it is a good way to relax as well as to educate. As people travel for different purpose and to varies destination, some may prefer to travel alone while others tend to travel with a companion. As far as I am concerned, companionship can contribute to a better and memorable trip.

To begin with, I admit that traveling alone might provide people some benefits such as total freedom and no disturbance. On one hand, for one traveling alone, he or she is free to change the schedule at any time, as one does not have to take the trouble to guess whether another people might be unhappy about the change or not. On the other hand, traveling alone provides one with peace. If one is eager to escape from the noisy city, the heavy load of work and find a place to relax, traveling alone might be a good choice, as one can simply travel to a peaceful place and doing nothing at all to calm oneself down without suffering disturbance from others.

However, considering all those discussed above, I am still more into traveling with a companion.
During our trip, we may confront some unexpected problems. In this case, if we have someone together with us, we can help each other to come across the difficult situation. For example, my friend Lily once got fever on her trip to Beijing. Instead of visiting the Forbidden City, she lay in bed all day feeling uncomfortable. Fortunately for her, she traveled with her friend Doreen, who took extensive care of her during that time. With the help from Doreen, Lily recovered quite well and continued her trip. Imagine, if Lily traveled alone, it is likely that she might stay bitterly in the hotel and feeling depressed.

In the final analysis, another thing that makes our travel more interesting is chatting. Traveling with a companion provides us the opportunity to chat on the way, sharing our views and opinions of a certain place or food. I can still remember the trip to Qing Dao, during which my best friend and I saw the dolphin show. After the show, we were really excited, as on the bus to our hotel, we kept talking about the lovely dolphins and those amazing shows. The chat makes me feel even better because it is a way for me to share my feelings. As it makes me uncomfortable when I feel excited about something and I have no one to talk about it.

In summary, despite all the benefits we can get from traveling alone, I still prefer to travel with a companion, for the help we can give each other and the happiness of sharing we can gain.
