Students at university or in college shouldchoose the most difficult classes even if they cannot get top grades (marks) inthem.

University is a place where we students canreceive higher education. Except (other than/ apartfrom) required class, students can choose a variety kind (sorts) of subjects to (diversifyexperience) broaden his or her horizons. some students prefer to choosethe most difficult classes so as to challenge themselves. However, is itnecessary? In my opinion, I firmly convince that, though some most difficultclasses can stimulate our motivation to challenge ourselves, we should chooseclasses according to our interest but not the difficulty.

Challenge ourselves is a good habit.Suppose that all the classes we attend are so easy that nobody is likely tofail in the exams, then our university life may lose its own charm. Among allthe classes I have chosen, I find discrete mathematics most difficult. I wasconfused by the graph theory and all kinds of algorithms. In order to pass thefinal exam successfully, I study this subject nearly every evening. Finally, Ipass the exam successfully with a relatively low mark. I should admit that by studyingthis subject, I really build my characteristics of being patient and concentrated,whereas I undoubtfully consider this kind of cause a waste of time in that Ihave no interest in it.

As the old saying goes, interest is thebest teacher. This saying still plays an important role in our study. Myinterest lays on economy, and being a financial analyst is my whole dream sinceI enter the high school. The subject linked to economy is not so difficult forme since I like to study it. In the last semester, I got all A in the economy-relatedcourses such as macro economy and financial analysis. I should say that it isinterest that lead me to the top grade rather than the difficulty. In a word,those subjects which we show great interest in will never make us feelhard-pressed.

In addition, despite(for all) the fact that we can challenge ourselves by taking most difficultclasses, we do not understand it well(digest itsessence) if we do not get a top grade. The basic principle of educationis to achieve knowledge. Attending a class which you cannot grasp it well isjust a waste of time to us all. My friend Jack is a melomania who loves allkinds of music including jazz, blues and pop music. Learning mathematics to himis just like grasp the sun. Is it necessary to choose this subject? Obviouslynot. What he is supposed to take is music-related courses such as piano andmusic art. Only by taking that kind of subjects can Jack improve himself best.And that is the final purpose of university education.

To conclude, I really do not suggeststudents should take the most difficult classes only to challenge his or herself. Choose the subject by your own interest, and that will give you the mostuseful knowledge you want to achieve.

I am always suprised when I hear people saying that we should always follow others' dicision, and only in that way can we choose a right way to go and achieve success more easily. Why should we always have others to lead our own way? I undoubtfully believe that making decisions by ourselves is always better than having other people make dicisions. And this point can be deduced reasonably from general principles.

First of all, making decisions can help us build our own characteristics and abtain a splendid future. Today's world is one that calls for personality, which is also strongly required in the future. Take Steven Jobs, the celebrated  CEO of Apple Corporation for example. As a talented student in Reed College, he shows no interest in masses of boring classes. To chase his own dream, he made up his mind to drop the college and study calligraphy, witch turned out to help him to create the best typewriting at that time, whereas his parents' only dream is to cultivate him as a college student. Suppose Jobs follow his parents' advice, maybe he will noly be an average officer in a small company, never having ambition to create one of the most successful corporation in the world. In a word, make your own decision will always lead you to a glorious future. So, remeber that always follow your own mind.

Another reason firmly convincing the opinion is that by choosing our own way to achieve our goal, we will never regret. Too many people nowadays are complaining that they follow a wrong direction pointed by others which eventually contribute to the failure. It's obvious that other people's opinions are always misleading because they cannot grasp your own meaning. Once a time, I was wondering whether should I choose to study economy, which I show no interest in while it's easy for nearly all the student to get a top score. One of my friend suggested that I should surely register for that class because it's good for my future education, since GPA is a important aspect taken into consideration when we register for a foreign university. Finally, I choose the economy class with a lot of confusion. The class is really boring for me in that the teacher never give us students any chance to discuss or raise question, only stating some dreary cliches in the text books. Finally, though I got a high score in the final examination, I find myself achieve nothing in reality. I really regret to follow my friends class. So, in order to not leave any regretion for ourselves, please make dicision by our own.

Last but not least, having other people make dicision costs to much time. To ask other people to help you decide which one to choose, you should always turn for a lot of people for help since you cannot decide which one you should believe in. After all the people you turn to for help give you his or her own opinion, you will again lose yourself in hesitating to choose a best opnion to follow. Thus, you will lose a large amount of your personal time, which can never be made up.

To conclude, making decisions by our own always overweighs having other people make decisions. I am not likely to neglect the importance of listening to other people's opinion, which also give you a choice to refer to, however, the final right of making a decision is in our own hand. In a word, lead your own way to the final success!

Many people get confused on whether they should join a travel group led by a tour guide or simly make a trip all by their own when they are planning a travelling. When it comes to me, I will surely insist on travel with a large group of people following a local guide, since it seems to be more pleasant, convinient and time-saving.

First of all, travelling with other people are always full of pleasure. I dislike the feeling of travelling alone, since the destination for me are always unfamiliar, thus, a sense of loneliness and fear comes up to me, which will always destroy my mood. Nevertheless, I will always, if accompanied by a large group of people, enjoying a happy state of mind wherever the destination is. Last year, my friends and I have a long trip to Beijing, the capital of China who have seen the nation's development for more than three thousand years. Beijing is quite a unfamiliar city for us all, fortunately, a beautiful local girl serves as our tour guide to travel all around the Beijing. In the journey, we sing and playing cards to release all our tiredness and weariness, enjoying nearly all the famous spots of scene in the great metropolitan. In fact, I still remember that trip right now. In a word, We are likely to have a nice trip when accompanying with our friends.

Another reason that I would like to mention is traveling in a group is always of great convinience, since all the members can share the problems that may be confronted with in our journey. surppose that you get lost in direction when you are traveling with nobody to help you. At that time, the only thing you can do is to wait for help since walking all around may only make things worse. However, the tour guide will undoubtfully help you get out of trouble. That is to say, having others accomanied with you are always better than traveling alone.

If it is so serious as being claimed, which I take leave to doubt, then the development of human beings can greatly change this situation, since the improvement of the productivity in farm, house and industry  will undoubtedly benefit not only human existences, but also the animals living in this lovely planet.

The first point I want to state is that animals can live harmoniously with human beings. There are innumerous evidences for this statement. Take the Yellow stone Park for example, millions of people travel there for camping and picnic, while a variety kind of animals also dwelling on the park. We can get in touch with those cute animals without any fear of being hurt by them. In a word, it is natural for us human beings to live with animals without any problem.

In addition, by meeting human needs for farmland, housing and industry, we can foresee a splendid future. Even an elementary student can deduce this opinion from general principles. What do you want most in a friend - someone who is intelligent, or someone who has a sense of humor, or someone who is reliable? Which one of these characteristics is most important to you? Use reasons and specific examples to explain your choice.  

I am always amazed when a professor or a team leader decide to give every member of  the team the same grade when the team achieved the goal. Even one do not know from concrete example that giving every member of teh team the same grade brings plenty of troubles, they could deduce it from general principles.

Firstly, giving the same grade is undoubtedly unfair to some member.  It's easy for some people, which I would like to take leave to doubt, to take a free ride in the process of the whole project. That is to say, a few of them may make little contribution to a team. In my case, I was once a team member focusing on the study of artificial intelligence. I put all my heart in the project in order to finish the project successfully as early as possible. Another two collegues, however, just pay attention to what they can get after the program without any consideration of the process of the team. The result turns out that those that two persons the same reward as the team leader and me. Though what I care is not in the reward, the result still make me annoyed for they two achieved everything for nothing! After that project, I do not like to do research with that kind of people who do not take any resposibility for the team any more. In a word, I dislike that some people take free ride in a team gaining everything but contributing little.

Another point I would like to explain is that giving grade to team member according to what they have done can benefit the whole project. It's natural for nearly all the people to get a top grade. As a result, they will surely, if given grade depending on their contribution, try their best to make effort in the project. In addition, every member can have the sense of  cooperation in that it enables all the people in a team to handle a problem in time.

though we should giving grade to every member according to their efforts, I do not mean that we should omit the constitution of the team spirit. Distributing reward based on the contribution may easily cause some problems such as selfish and arrogance. Every one is willing to get the most profits by every kind of means including exculding others pushing out other team members. In order to avoid such kind of matter, a team should make out a detailed principle before the beginning of the project. That is to say, estabilish a rule is extremly essential.

To conclude, distribute the award by contribution far overweighs giving every team member the same grade. Nobody in the team can take a free ride while team members' zeal is greatly stimulated, whereas a detailed principle should be drafted out before the beginning of the project.

Some people are always talking about the merits of homework. If there is one, which I take leave to（leaving to） doubt, 加上that is, it can only keep students quietly in the study room without playing any game. I firmly insist that homework is just a waste of time. Without any homework to do, students can study on the subject where their interests lay （lie in） and have fun in the playground.

To begin with, homework costs students large amounts of time bringing little benefits. Students have, if they focus on what the teacher said, grasped the knowledge imparted in the class, thus, what they need to do after the class is to share what they have learnt with their classmates and even casts（to cast） doubt(doubts) on the opinion(opinions) which the teacher hold(holds). The endless homework plays a minor role in reviewing the knowledge in that it can neither extend the knowledge nor solve the students' doubts on the subject. In fact, what they actually do is to make all the students feel bored and wearied. In a word, homework, without any doubt, only owns plenty of withdraws but not even one advantage.

What us(is) also worth noticing is that students can allocate their limited free time to study what they really put(have) interest in. To sum up, I definitely claim that homework is unnecessary. Without the pressure of innumerous homework, we students can put our heart on our favorite subject(subjects) and build our physiques. In a word, we should call for cancelling all the homework and return a splendid future to every student.
