When people down to a book, the first glance must be focus on abstract, which are the simplest explanation of the whole concept. As the essence of the matter always depicted as simplest situation, making things as simple as possible is the initial to close intrinsic quality, which indeed requires real effort and courage, as same as what speaker has said.
定义：简单即本质
At the beginning of convincing this statement, I assert that making things simple always equals to grasping the essence. Complex human behaviors can be explained by activities of nervous; Planets have same orbits as electrons'; Nature selection acts as “invisible hand” in economy… Similarity can be found in the regulations behind matters, normalizes various questions into a one.
抓住本质的要求：1. 观察大量样本
One of the demands for making things simple is to research more samples, which provide opportunities to discovery similarity. What has been called principle is the same regulation which dominates various matters behind them. Only by examining broaden things could we clearly understand their features, after analysis and analogy, their similarities could be unveiled. Disciplines such as statistics and taxology intend to classify a large number of things according to their general regulations. Applying on these subjects, Darwin had put forward the influential theory about natural selection.
抓住本质的要求：2. 丢弃冗余信息
While finding similarities, we have to abandon redundant information, which is difficult to measure especially in modern society. Easily input one word into Google search bar，there will immediately flood into millions of entries. Explosion of information today makes things more and more complicated. We hardly find the major reason of decreasing rate of crime. Educators appreciate the enhanced education system; citizens thank to ameliorative provision; Politicians attribute it to improvement of economy which bring about public satisfaction; finally, an economist, the writer of Freaknomics, induces that decreasing criminal rate is due to legality abortion twenty years ago which killed many potential criminals. Due to his demonstration, it seems to be a credible conclusion which few people could draw. We are submerging in the sargasso sea of information, always believe in views of all sizes; from those different reasons and causes, we get more conclusions. Although all of us know there must be one major reason or conclusion, we can hardly throw away or even be loath to leave the trifles and unimportant details.
抓住本质的要求：3. 深刻思考
Before giving up the trifles and important details, profound meditation is indispensable. Essences sometimes root so deep in matter and hardly to see. That is why people had assumed thousands of possibilities for mobility of planets and violent controversy had continued for thousands of years.
总结
Finally, Newton explained why earth and planet run like this by a formulation with three letters-F=ma.
In sum, making things as simple as possible not only requires mass analysis of broaden samples and profound meditation, but also need intelligence and courage to abandon large quantity of information.
