130"How children are socialized today determines the destiny of society. Unfortunately, we have not yet learned how to raise children who can help
bring about a better society."


I agree with the speaker's assertion that children's socialization by education plays a significant role for the prosperity of society. However, it is not the dominant one among all the factors pushing the society forward. What's more, the speaker hastily generalized that we fail to raise children
who may contribute to a better society. In my point of view, by contrast, nowadays our children acquire more socialized skills and habbits through our education which includes endeavors from families, schools and the society.

Firstly consider the definition of socialization about a children. In the progress of being socialized, on one hand, children are informed of commonly identified social moral values and ethnical standards, which conduct their daily lives and base them shared ideas with others .
On the other hand, children gradually accumulate capabilities necessary for participating within their own society which ensures their altering from natural persons to social ones.

Admittedly, how children are socialized today is important to the destiny of society. Children need to be educated to possess good manners and courtesy, honesty and loyalty to friends, harbour respect and gratitude for others and tolerance for resentment and differences instead of bullying them.Together with globalization of the world and the socialization of productivity, no tasks can be fulfilled consummately and efficiently by one single person but teams. Team spirit and sense of responsibility are important inside a team. As leaders, they are to acquire magnetic personalities, acute minds and organization capabilities to make events. While others should be coachable and compatible to make a friendly and harmonious circumstances. Only under peace and harmony,
can advancement of society occurs at a rapid space.

Besides what is talked above, however, a wealth of factors do make sense to the advancement of the society. What is essential to it is not only people's close cooperation and participation, common beliefs and ethics, but also their constant innovation, gushing flairs, constructive breakthroughs and other spirits such as perseverance. It is difficult to say that whether children are socialized counts above all. Let's look back to past, numerous figures sticking to their natures and beliefs against temporal values at that time prove to attribute to society's development. Gregor Mendel, a Augustinian priest and scientist, gain himself posthumous fame for his new principles of genetics verified by his study of the inheritance of certain traits in pea plants by statistical methods. Whereas, his theory went beyond Charles Darwin's hypothesis and were not emphasized by biologists. Until 20 years after his death, Mendel's principles were rediscovered and gradually became accepted widely as they successfully explain . Although his thought is not consistent with common beliefs at that time, Mendel, known as the Father of Genetics, have bred a new science of genetics and pave the way to a new area for biology. As we can see, works which are rejected by the public temporally can be of great significance to the society as they may shorten the distance between us and the truth and advance the whole society.

Last but not least, I could not back the author' claim that we have no competent in children's education for a better society. Notified the importance of children's socialization, we pay much attention to training children shared values, team spirits and leadership. Various methods as we employ, such as  organized athletic contests and role models from family or the society, our children show their extraordinary capabilities to cooperate with others at an early age, whose hands will boost the society's promotion.

In conclusion, plenty of factors act on the destiny of society including children's socialization, an essential one rather than a decisive one. And I concede that by our joint efforts, our children will become more equal to should the duty to build a bright future.

把社会化定义为在教育过程中习得交往技巧，规范，从而更好地参与社会。进而论证参与、团队对社会发展的重要性，然后举出例子说明还有其它因素促进社会的发展。内部逻辑应该是没问题的，如果能论证一下谁的影响作用更大就更好了。建议作者可以参考一下其它的破题方法。
