Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? Young people should try several different jobs before they take a career in a long term.


Recently, a discussion about whether it is helpful that young people experience several diverse jobs before they choose their lifetime career. Contract with the opinion of many people is my heartfelt agreement with the idea that youngsters should try several different jobs before their long term career, though we have to take some disadvantages of that taken into consideration.

First of all, experiencing diverse jobs in the days of their youths, youngsters could learn various sorts of skills which may be quite useful for the whole career development. As the social develops, it seams that each of careers is not simply a single movement any longer. In other words, most of careers have to contact with one or more other field ones to improve their efficiency and to meet modern social requirement. Since that, young people are requested to posse various aspects of knowledge so that they could be more popular with many occupation.

In addition, doing different types of occupations avails people an excellent opportunity to find the real passion and enthusiasm. Recently, it is quite commonly heard that plenty of youngsters complain that their jobs not fit in with them. Thus, so as to quickly find a suitable job, one could experience kinds of occupation as internship students in their vocation time before they graduate from high school or college, which could provide several chances to find their passion.

Last but not least, one could make friends who may be helpful in the future career from various backgrounds. As discussed above, it is no longer a single movement, so in order to communicate well with other fields of professionals, at first, it is significantly important for one to be acquaintance with them trying several jobs, which perhaps makes the cooperation much effective. Also, contacting to various field people beforehand may play a critical role in your further life.

All in all, in accordance with what has been discussed above, we can safely draw the conclusion that, taking various jobs could broad the range of one’s knowledge and even make more friends, so it is truly necessary for young people to try several diverse occupations before they choose a career in a long term.
