Do the future of children belong to their parents? Why are parents decide future of their children? It is not sufficient reason that parents always have more experience and parents always are more intelligence. So, I strongly believe that children should make their own decision on what they want to do with the suggestion of parents. There are several reasons to support my opinion.



Firstly, although parents have more experience and knowledge than children, they may not clearly know the personal interesting of their children. While children make decision on their future may mainly based on their individual interests or the influence of other person, these interests and influences may give them more motivation and energy in their future life. For example, Lionel Messi choose football when he was a little boy, concentrated on football many years, and then he became world famous football player. The other example is the famous basketball player Kobe Bryant who was influence by Michael Jordan. In addition, there are too many other examples of famous person made their choices by themselves when they were children, such as Albert einstein, Waston and Crick, Thamos Edision or Michal Jackson. As we all know, all of them had great contributions to our society. So, children with their own choices may positively work on their interests and make contributions in their future life.



Secondly, other advantage of making own choice is that children can learn more things from their choice. And, they should have a responsibility on their own decision. There is no doubt every children will leave family in their future and have their own life. So, they should decide which they want to learn, what they want to do and which university they want to apply.



Thirdly, there is a very bad example of most Chinese parents who determined the life of their children, even control the future of their son/daughter. Are their children happy on what their parents decided? Are the arrangement of the parents suitable to children? Perhaps, if we investigate the Chinese society, we can find that most people lost their personal interests and they work just for family. So, I believe that children should make their own decision to avoid become the tool of parents.

Finally, I have to admit that it is dangerous that children make their own decision without suggestions of parents. Without enough experience and knowledge, some children may make stranger choice of their future. So, parents should give some suggestions and ideas of the selection of their children.



To sum up, with the suggestion of the parents, children may make more practicable decision based on their interest. So, I strongly recommend every children should make their own choose, meanwhile they also need to listen the suggestion of their parents.
