Agree or disagree? If children want to do well in school, parents should limit the hours of watching TV programs or movies
Only you take a hundred percents of effort can you do your career well. There are so many things in society which can attract our attention and make us lost ourselves in it. If we can' control ourselves, we need others' help. As a student, our main work is learning. Unless you put all your heart in it never will you get success. So, I think it is obviously correct that our parents limit the hours of watching TV.
First, watching TV programs or movies waste a lot of time. Some movies are so long that it lasts over three hours. TV programs can be a little shorter but they are often series. It will take one or two hours from our learning time. It is a rule that if you want to get high point you must use enough time on books instead of TV programs or movies. Many programs and movies are just funny. You can learn nothing from it.
In addition, it is better to do some exercises for relaxing than watching TV or movies. Some students respect it is too tired for them to learn in school. They want to relax after school. It is reasonable for them to request that, but taking some exercises is a better way for relaxing. After sitting a whole day in school, you need to do some sports. However, if you go on lying in the couch and watching TV, you will become a coach potato sooner or later. If you spend a long in watching TV, your eyes will be very tired. There are so many children in China troubled by short sight. Only you care about protecting your eyes can they be brighter. After a day's hardworking, not only your mind but also your eyes need relax too. Doing sports can relax your eyes and make you stronger, so you can do well in school.
Third, it will distract us after watching a movie. Your mind will be filled up with the movie content. How can you concentrate yourself on your study? After watching a movie especially an interesting one, it is hard for us to forget it. It is impossible for you to do well if you can't focus your attention.
It will make you to be a good student if you spend more time on your books instead of the TV or movies. It is a better choice to do some sports for relaxing than watch movies. I definitely agree with the statement above.

The reading and listening passage have a conflict of opinion about whether it is a best way to accomplish a project by gathering people into a team. The reading material points out three major benefits, which are contradicted by the following lecture.
Firstly the reading material claims that the team can definitely complete the project better than individual. It is because people, in a team, can have a larger range of knowledge, expertise and skills. However, the listening material believes that more people don't mean higher efficiency. It is because some people in the team don't do anything. They are called “free ride", but they can get the same benefit with the hardworking people.
Secondly the reading passage believes that a team can come up with a solution to the project more quickly. It is because more people mean more answers. Every member in the team will be glad to take part in the process. However, the listening material believes that the team may take longer time. It is because team members are used to take many meetings to decide a solution. If they can't get any agreement, the solution will be dropped and the project will be delayed.
Thirdly the reading material claims a team can come up with more creative solutions and risky decisions. It is because the group can bear responsibility than individual dose when the decision is wrong. However, the lecture believes that some of the solutions are not come up by the group; instead they are decided by only several persons. Some individual’s good advices have to be dropped. When the result turns out to be wrong, everyone in the team is blamed.
By this way, the speaker contradicts the opinion of the reading.
