I generally accepted the speaker's broad assertion that the absence of choice is a circumstance that is very rare, ironically sometimes we have to make up one choice from many options available, and all this depend on our attitudes toward the issues.

To begin with, in current society in which the life conditions and civil democratic rights have been both remarkably promoted, we have more and more freedom to make up a choice from numerical options available than ever before. To prove the statement we need only to take a look around in routine life. As a creature I eat, as a man, I read. The food industry and well developed distribution network such as 7-11 convenient stores facilitate our needs on food. Nowadays, we could appreciated the characteristic foods and delicious cuisine from countries all over the world, for example the Chinese food, French restaurants are so popular that average people could have an chance to appreciate the foreign delicious. In the other hand, we could enjoy more multi-elements culture and arts appreciated by the human beings as a whole, via highly developed mass media such as broadcasting, television and internet, an apt illustration in point was the enormous channels in cable television network which provide abundant contents, news, artic , sports and entertaining programs was played 24 hours a day. Usually we keep pressing the television remote controller to switch the channel one another until exhausted.

At the same time we enjoy the conveniences and freedom in virtue of scientific and technological advances, we also have to suffer the hesitation and struggling to make up our mind to make a best choice from countless options. Some times it is really hard to the best from equally competent ones such as to choose a position in career orientation. when the graduates who are accustomed to the campus life in the college which could sometimes termed "naive" and " unprofessional" from career perspective, it is really hard to choose up a companies to send a Resume in pursuit of a job, therefore the graduates even complained that:" it is not we choose the jobs, but the jobs choose me in fact." From this point, I believed that as a confident and competent stranger in certain field with equally benefit and risks, we should go ahead to take up one candidate from the equally ones, since in this circumstance to take up anyone choice is just a good choice.

In this time which could be termed either the " best time" or "worst time" leading to increasing life complexities, we have to take the challenges to make up many choices in business negotiation, in  romantic dating and in financial investments, we have to strike a balance between the sense and sensibility. And take various approaches as follow: try our best to choose the best form better ones, while be ready to choose the least worst from worse ones.
